Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare is by far one of the most realistic games I have ever played. Wither you are a passenger in the back of a car, or if you are trying to escape from a sinking ship. This game brings real life physics into a video game. The graphics are amazing, the weapons are realistic, the Single player is outstanding, and the online play seems to be one of my favorites so far. The Storyline in this game is great.
Multiplayer is the best online game I have EVER played. It has the rank system which could be a bad thing, since it keeps me playing and can become an addiction, but the maps are great, teams and weapons are great. You get many options when playing this game. The game has been out for a little more than 24 hours and there are already hundreds of servers to choose from. I love this game!!!! My favorite game out there. 10/10, 5 stars of 5 stars, 100% amazing!! A must buy game!!
Unlike the other Call Of Duty Games, you are actually part of a squad, and you play together rather than having something go wrong during a mission, and you having to go solo to reach the objective. The game seems to be steady so far. I have not come across any glitches, and has yet to crash.
I usually don't like buying games the day they come out, because I like to wait and see if they are truely worth the $49.99. In this case, I took a risk, but it turned out that this is the best game I own, and I own a lot of games. If you liked Rainbow Six Vegas, Modern Warfare is at least 20 times better in my opinion. Modernwarfare is not runs a lot smoother but the gameplay is better, the storyline is more realistic, the graphics are much better, and its the best Call Of Duty game yet! I would highly recommend this game!

COD4 - Best One Yet!I've always been a C.O.D. fan and this latest release certainly did not disappoint. Quite the opposite in fact, it's the best one yet. It's fantastic, with the characterization, A.I., and great graphics. It's a must play for 3D shooter fans. I know, I know, so many war games... so little time. But EA is now a really tough team to beat, with thier experience and team of amazing developers. And the ending.... Magnificient! This game made me feel like part of the experience. I felt the joy of accomplishent, as well as each heartbreaking loss.

This game delivers on a whole lot of levels. The graphics are outstanding - even if you find yourself running a slightly long in the tooth PC. My old AGP ATI 9600 card manages to run it just fine on my Intel P4 3.2 system.
This is one of the few games out there that has not only delivered a dynamic and interesting online experience, but has also given those interested in single player action a place to turn.
I had a great time finishing the single player game. There were some fantastic cinematic touches. I will not ruin the experience with any spoilers, but lets just say your in for a hell of a ride.
It took me about 8 leisurely hours to finish the single player. Just MAKE SURE to let the credits run out. Do NOT hit escape to end them. You get a nice little bonus at the end that is wroth the wait.
Now the multi-player experience is also interesting. It takes a unique approach by allowing you to unlock weapons and add-ons. It allows you to combine these weapons and add-ons in just about any way you choose to create your own classes. Very cool.
All of this is persistent. In other words, you don't start from zero each time you go to play online. You have a record that follows you around. So as you get promoted and add new weapons, you keep them both.
So here is where we lose that star. First, the maps are a bit small. You can get some pretty heated battles going on in these confined spaces, but opening up the maps would let a less frenetic play style prevail for those that prefer that kind of experience.
Then there is the mobility issue. It is not a giant deal, but jumping on top of things that you should easily be able too is often impossible. You can fall onto the top of a dumpster, but you cannot jump on top of it. A small issue, but one that feels off.
All in all, a great experience. If you have enjoyed previous COD titles or other modern combat type games, this is for you.
Another cool feature is the level of flexibility afforded to those that would host their own servers.
If your looking for your first game of this type, this is also a great place to start.

I loved this game.The singleplayer was awesome.Works great.Multiplayer was awesome.What i didnt like was that some of the levels were quick.It was hard to join servers but fun to play. It takes time to play and get new weapons and perks.The fun part is the multiplayer.Make sure you have the right requirements.

Call od Duty 4I purchased call of duty 4 modern warfare several weeks ago, and after playing the game on my pc, I found it hard to stop. This is a awesome game and I would recommend it to all game enthusiasts. The realism of the characters was great along with the story line. I also enjoyed the way the game flowed. Try this one, you'll never go back.

IntenseIt is amazing the level of detail they can pack into a game. The action the physics, it is getting better all the time. I would think in 20 years or less there will be VR rooms at arccdes like holo-decks in Star Trek, sometime i think they will be available in homes. I can hear it now, now you cannot go into the holoroom until you finish your homework. Of course there will educational interactive programing too.

Awesome! Really feels like your fighting in reality. :)I absolutely love the realism of the game. It's just like CoD 2. It's definatly worth the price tag and although the Single Player is kind of short, like beat it in 4 hours short, the storyline is good and alternates characters really well. The multi player I haven't played yet but it should be just as cool.

Call of Duty 4I really like the ranks in the online game, and the storyline is great.There are a variety of weapons and achievements to unlock. I think this game is better then any Halo game. The console commands make it interesting after you beat it.

I have #1 and its adon plus #2. since #3 was console and online -not PC -
then I skipped it. #4 is a good game. the difficulty levels increase dramatically. I doubt I will ever make it to the maximum.
CON; it has more limits than its pryor's. as in where u can go, and what
you can do. the story board can not be skipped in most places like in priors.
you have to sit through a bunch of stuff that is time wasteing. I go make
coffee LOL.
some of the level endings are forced - you have little or no control over
them.
I will play it another 50 times before I get totally tired of it. LOL

The graphics are crazy, the action insane, the multiplayer has tons of possibilities. The single player is a bit short. I've played Medal of Honor multiplayer since it came out way back, not now, will probably dump it since I have this.
