Call of Duty 3 (Playstation 3)

I read the reviews elsewhere on this and I was not sure if I was going to get it.
I think they were wrong.
I own Call of Duty 2 for the XBox 360.
Reviews said Call of Duty 3 was "More of the Same".
I don't know if it is the PS3 or the Duty 3, but this game is alot better than Duty 2 on my 360. The Smoke effects are better. The Water is amazing... Damn shot again starring at the water...
I noticed something in Resistance Fall of man that is also present in this game, Everything is alive. The Grass whisps in the wind, this makes the environment come alive.
I think Resistance does the Ambiance better, but it is nicely done here too.
Swinging the Sixaxis as if to do a Rifle Butt causes your on screen character to do a Rifle Butt... Cool...
The Driving Sequences using the Sixaxis takes a little getting used to, however you can still drive via the Analog stick as well.
Graphics are Very nice, I did not see the Frame Rate Problems spoke of by the Reviewer. The Sound is very good. I did not give the Sound a 10 though because after playing Resistance where there is more clips of audio from the AI characters, I found hearing the same thing over and over again to be very "Last Gen" of Course my "Next Gen" 360 has the same problem. I think it stems from people starting to use the Extra capacity available on the BluRay disc.

Free Online Thanks to Sony. Goodbye XBox Live. Until Microsoft gives Live for Free, I will not renew. The Microsoft Fanboys keep trying to convince me that the Xbox Live is somehow better, well... after using them both I can not see the "greatness" that constitutes $50 a year.

If you liked Call of Duty 2, You will love Call of Duty 3.

it is no call of duty 4, it seems all of treyarch's games fail to match their infinity ward predecessors. but it is still a good, solid, wwii fps on the ps3. so i recommend it highly.

I won a bid on a ps3 game that runs about 60.00 bucks in stores. For around 20.00 buck with the shipping this would have been a great deal. When i completed the checkout the never sent a shipping address. I emailed for the address over and over... No response from sell!!! Then i received a unpaid item strike. What a peice of .... seller! I like the graphics,love the gameplay,I bought it "cause I'm a fan of the series.and everything that has to do with realistic WW2 games.you get to live what the soldiers lived back in 1942 Germany.

one of the reasons i bought this game was because i wanted to have all the call of duty games. i also bought it because it was based on WWII AND I LOVE THESE TYPE OF GAMES. WHAT I LOVED ABOUT THIS purchase was that it was really cheap. i bought this game brand new for $17.00 and at stores it costs $59.99!!!!!!!!! i got this game at a really good bargain and it was totally worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

awesome game but only in campaign mode. in online play it is nothing like call of duty 4. however if you are a historical battles buff you will love this game. you feel like youre there, part of it

Good game. Good graphics. A lot of action in play. Recommend it to those who like military theme games.

Excellent game, looks very real and online playing is better than the one in COD 4.

I would say and I have not played "Call of Duty 4 that number 3 is very good. I do beleive that the frist one that came out and caught everybody by surprise is the best. The graphics are great and the story is interesting and good. I also like if you can play Easy, Medium, or Hard. I like it easy. Get through the game in days.

This is a great first person title. The graphics are excellant along with the story line. You could spend many enjoyous hours playing this game.

Call of Duty 3 is the last series of the World War 2 games from Activision. With the release of Call of Duty 4 Call of Duty 3 has lost its glory. The game lets you follow different peoples point of views. It is an easy beat but worthwile to play. I decided to buy it for Playstation 3 because the online play is free for that console. I have nothing but good thins to say about Call Of Duty 3. I would suggest buying your copy TODAY!!!!!
