this cd/album has about 3 or 4 really good songs amongst others that are ok to plain or so.
the thing is, the songs on here that are good are worth the cd. it would not be a good place to start with chaka. being a new wave electronic fan, i started with destiny then got naughty, which is her best solo album, but it's more disco-ish, but it's brilliant.

) CHAKA AT HER BEST . SHE IS AT HER BEST ON THE TRACK "IT'S MY PARTY" THE REASON I BOUGHT THE CD THIS TRACK IS PURE SOPHISTICATED FUNK. WILL HAVE YOU DANCING AT LEAST YOUR TOES WILL BE TAPPING . THE WORDS WILL MAKE YOU SMILE ,OR CHUCKLE THE WOMACKS LEND A BIG HAND ON THIS . THEY ARE A FORCE ON THERE OWN . "SIGNED ,SEALED,DELIVERED"THIS VERSION IS FUNKIER THAN PREVIOUS VERSIONS BY OTHERS LOTS OF ENEGY . " ETERNITY" YOU CAN HEAR PRINC'ES INFLUENCE . IT IS A SEXY MIDTEMPO SYNTH NUMBER. THE TRACK STICKY WICKED DID NOT IMPRESS ME SHE TRIES HER HAND AT RAPPING. THE MUSIC IS NOT PRETTY OR HARMONIOUS A LITTLE TO ROUGH FOR ME THE WEAK LINK IN THE CHAIN .

I highly recommend for her fans and funksters. . the best track and reason I BOUGHT THE CD ISTRACK" It's my party" the Womacks lend a hand writing and producing . they are are a force on there own .this track will have you dancing .or at leat toe tapping the words will have you laughing . The track "Signed sealed and delivered makes you forget previous versions by other artists . It's the funkiest by far . The track "Eternity" you hear PRINCE over and together they hit a home run a mid tempo synth song soul meet tech . the weak link in this cd is the track"sticky wicked " she tries some rapping on it the music is tooo hard not harmonious it is the weak link in this chain "baby me " is throw back to soul of the 70s and 80s it is very mood setting "make it last" show cases the powerful voice Chaka has . A nother strong track is " end of the affair
