I like these tracks "All my life, Paradise, Remember." I have it on my car. Oh well whoever is a good fan of Philip Collins, this would a nice album to have. It lifts my spirit lol.
I love Phil Collins...Excellent musician. In this album, Phil Collins has a couple of his greatest songs, and one other song that I have been happily surprised to hear. I will get the best hits soon.
Another fantastic deal with this seller. I'm trying to add to a big collection of CDs and this one will round out my collection of Phil Collins CDs. Thanks so much for having this hard-to-find item!
Had this on cassette tape and always wanted to replace it with a CD so I found it online and I am so happy now to have it on CD. It was shipped proptly and in perfect condition.
It is so much fun listening to Phil Collins by himself. I liked "In the Air" ever since I first heard it in '86 from a Michelob commercial even though I'm not into beer. I also like "Another Day in Paradise". It brings back so many memories from the 80's. There is a lot more to Phil Collins to what he did when he was in Genesis. I also liked "Two Hearts"
What a terrific CD! I had a copy years ago but it was lost during a move. Thankfully a found a copy on Ebay for a great price. Classic Phil songs about love, social issues and life. Get it!

Phil Collins' last good album

Pros: Nice vocals and lyrics, Some great songs, Some beautiful horn playing by the Phoenix Horns
Cons: Too preachy at times, Some songs don't quite work
"But Seriously" is Phil Collins deepest and probably most popular album. The songs are catchy, the music's intriguing and the lyrics are oftentimes interesting to listen to. True sometimes Phil gets a little preachy here(For example "Another Day in Paradise" is a good song but it gets too wrapped up in it's message) but overall the album isn't bad. The first song is probably the worst song on the album. "Hang in Long Enough" starts off pretty good with a jazzy opening filled with trumpets and a brass section along with the usual steady drumbeat and then Collins voice enters and it's strong...

Pros: Beautifully moving and touching songs
Cons: Some filler and weaker tracks
Yes I would certainly recommend Phil Collins to my friends, even though they would hate me for it. Phil Collins is a much maligned figure, an unjustified stance in my opinion. "But Seriously" is a very good cd that is almost impossible to dislike for any fan of pop. Phil Collins to me is basically likeable in a superficial 80's pop way. It's the sort of music I will play in the background, and occasionally sing along to. Man cannot live on nihilism alone, and everyone needs something truly light and uplifting in their cd collection. Phil Collins (and his Genesis years) are a good candidate...

Pros: This is a thought provoking album touching on many social issues.
Cons: Because it does touch on social issues it may be heavy for some listeners.
As a fan of Phil Collins I rushed out to get this album right away. I was not disappointed. His songs are heartfelt and thought provoking. The sound is, as usual, excellent. To me, every song was excellent to listen to.
