Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Season 1 (2002, DVD)

I'm a closet Buffy fan & wanted to watch all the old episodes again. I didn't mind that there was some shelf wear on the case, but I was very dissapointed to find a scratch on the second disc in the set. It was hard to get past it with my DVD player & I'm sad that I missed that part. I haven't watched the last three discs yet & I hope ther won't be any more problems.

I've always been in love with Buffy the Vampire Slayer since day one. However I really wish they had put more bonus features in Season 1. The first couple of seasons of Buffy are so creative. I wish they had stuck with that mentality through Buffy's whole tv career. Overall this season is wonderful but I do wish they had more bonus features.

the dvd were perfect. I really love to watch it. I intend to watch them over and over again. I saw some shows on cable and wanted to see them all. I thoygh I would start my collection w/ this dvd.

This specific product was in okay to fair condition (out side box) was worn and creased in spots. The DVD was a gag gift for a co-worker.

I've always loved the show and wanted to buy the seasons on DVD. Everywhere I've gone I can't find them under $30.00. I decided to try Ebay and found a couple season ones for sale. I decided to buy one so I could relive my Buffy days. I think I spent about $17.00 if I remember correctly and am very happy with my purchase.

The Season 1 is so cool and others too, My favorite in this movies is Angel he's the most beautiful Vampire and He look like my style :) , so all of vampire movies are my favorite movies.

The character studies are impeccable, and the subject matters are psychologically revealing without the show losing an entertaining beat. The episode "Hush" should go down as one of the most memorable shows in television history.

The entire series is a masterpiece of television that I for one will enjoy for many many years to come. I salute the whole incredible team for this magnificent piece of entertainment.

This item was purchased as a collector piece. I have always been a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The item itself is worth what I paid but in cases of purchasing something that the actual picture of the item is not included, you nee dto pay close attention to the details of the item. When I received the collection, the box was in terrible condition. It did state in the auction tha box has slight damagage..Yeah, more like someone stompped on the box and rubbed it all over concrete..In most cases you get a great deal on ebay. My aggravations lately have all come down to my realization that what you see is what you get..Ask for actual pictures or more pictures.

Joss Whedon's movie didn't take a bite out of the box office but the show was worth it.Sarah Michelle Gellar plays young Buffy Summers that finds out she is a vampire slayer.This item has 12 butt kicking episodes of action and horror.From Wellcome to to the Hellmouth to Prophacy Girl buffy S1 is great.12 episodes on 3 disc is really cool.I of course i wanted it to be longer because i love this show.Willow,Xander,Cordelia,and mysterious Angel make the show get heated up with romance.This would make a great Christmas or birthday gift for a buffy beginner.Happy Shopping!!!

I'm a big Buffy fan. I've watched all the seasons from the time it started on tv. I love being able to put on a dvd and watch it whenever I'd like. Compared to the rest of the seasons; this is the shortest. That is the only thing that I don't like about it. I love that it has the pilot episod, and that you really start to see how the characters act with each other.

I've spent a lot of time making fun of Buffy fans, thinking it was all a fluke that would not even be remembered a few years after the show went off the air. I was SO wrong!

Buffy is the Chosen One, the Vampire Slayer who moves to Sunnydale, CA. She makes new friends, Xander and Willow, and along with her Watcher, she fights off evil, vampires, demons and an insect-teacher. The episodes draw on history, old folklore, mythology and ancient religions.

This show is awesome! Not only is the story entertaining, humorous, and unique, but the special effects are really great too. Dialogue goes really well with the storyline, and Buffy and her friends are able to thow in a lot of really good one-liners. This show is as addictive as it is funny.

Like I said, I was ready to be really dissapointed with the show, and as it turns out, I had bought all seven seasons in less than a month. This show would appeal to all ages.

The story of a young highschool student who finds out she is chosen to be the "Slayer". Very well done. Good special effects. A running story line that will keep you wanting to know what happens next. Collect all 7 seasons!

Pleasantly surprised by the first season after seeing the movie I didn't think the show would be too deep. Buffy moves to Sunnydale with her mom Joyce after being kicked out of school in Los Angeles. She immediately meets her new watcher, Rupert Giles, hunky vampire with a soul, Angel and starts battling demons and vamps where she left. The villain of the first season is The Master, one of the oldest living vampires in the world. The stories are well structured with sharp, funny dialogue and each character really stands out on their own. It's fun to see a female action star for once. A must see for vamp lovers everywhere.
