Britax Marathon - Ashley Floral Booster Car Seat

We decided to purchase this car seat after reading many reviews and saftey standards. This is one of, if not the, safest car seat on the market today. It is more expensive than other seats, but can be used for a long period of time. This is the first and only car seat we've ever had for our 8 month old daughter. Even though she was tiny at first, she snuggled in comfortably in this seat. It has the recommended five-point harness and I feel secure knowing that she's safe if something happens. We can use this seat until she's 65 pounds, giving us 4-5 years of use, maybe more! If you have a small car with a cramped backseat like we do, however, be prepared to surrender at least half of the backseat to this seat. It is very large! It was a bit difficult to put in because of our small back seat, but should not be a problem in larger cars.

I bought this carseat for my almost 3 year old daughter. Her old carseat which was a hand me down from her big sis, had been washed so many times it had a huge hole in the side. It was an Evenflo medallion (which we loved!) but when we went to the evenflo website to try and order a replacement pad they wanted $75! So I decided just as well to buy a new carseat. I looked around, and was very impressed with the safety specs and 65 lb. weight limit of the Marathon. So we have this beautiful amazing comfy carseat, but now my stubborn toddler throws a fit to sit in her older sisters Princess booster seat. Go figure! My only regret is that I didn't buy one of these when my children were babies to get long use out of it. At least our next child will be riding in luxury...
