Boyds Tracker Plush (2006)

The Boyds Tracker Plush, 2nd version, is a fantastic book! Great for searching for the names and values of a plush animal that you have. Keep in mind, though, that this book is already a couple of years old and it's the latest book available when it comes to values. So keep that in mind when trying to determine your Boyds value. I've found that in earlier guides, some bears values were actually higher than what they are quoted to be in this book. On the other hand, it does has clear, beautiful pictures and is very easy to understand. It even has a section in the back called 'Pawnotes' that gives you even more information on those really hard to find items! I love how it gives the variations such as Avery B. Bean... you don't see this in the other value guides! There are a few places here and there that where a picture is missing. The Collector's Value Guide, 1997 Edition is the book that will have those missing photos! The only other fault that I could find, that it, eccept for not making a newer version which every Boyds Bear lover craves, is that it left out some of the oldies! The origianl Baby Boyds bears, for example. You can't find them anywhere in the Boyds Tracker. The best book that I have found that has the Baby Boyds is the Collector's Value Guide, 2001 Edition. Plus, this book is very well planned out!! I absolutely love how they have a section devoted to Exclusives. This makes it so much easier to find them. It's always a great feeling to learn that you have an exclusive or limited edition bear compared to just ones from regular production! Comes in paperback. I don't know if I just use mine alot but it is literally coming apart, and I bought mine new from the publisher. Just something to keep in mind.
