This is a movie that my whole family love. Cuba Gooding played his part as a Gay Guy until it was so hilarous you fell in love with him. There is two part children shouldn't see I made mine turn their head. But it was funny. I like Cuba Gooding and decided to buy it for that, never thought how much I would love it. We watched it so much over the years I had to order me another just now. I didn't make a mistake. Gooding get put on a cruise for gay me by accident with his friend, he starts acting gay to hit on the dance instructor. With so much hummor it is hilarous to see a gooding play a gay guy as good as he does.
I would recommend anyone that wants a good laugh. It is a awesome movie to cheer you up or when you need a good laugh. To see what a manly man acts so girlish as a gay guy. He teaches himself during the trip and its just a trip. I would give this movie five stars for funny and story line.

I initially viewed the movie on regular t.v., and decided to purchase it. When I got the DVD I was shocked at how much had been edited for television!
In one scene, Roselyn Sanchez performs fellatio on a banana while Cuba sits by watching. Roselyn does not leave out any details in her sexual performance with erotic commentary in Spanish. Fully stimulated by her eroticism, Cuba goes to the porthole of the stateroom and ejaculates out the window! The ejaculate lands on a fellow passengers face!
At that point, I politely ejected the DVD, reached for my sewing scissors and scratched the surface so badly no one would ever be able to fish it out of the trash and watch it.
Should have been rated XX. Not for children or teens! Parents beware!

Oh my gawd! I just returned from the theater and I'm still laughing! Here's the deal.. I rarely go to the theater to see movies, usually waiting until they get released on DVD where I can watch them in the comfort of my own home. Well, things are chaotic in my life right now and we both needed a diversion, so off we went with the intention of seeing whatever happened to be playing next... that turned out to be Boat Trip, and I am sooo glad it did! Boat Trip is about this guy, Jerry, and his friend Nick. Jerry got shot down when he proposed to his gal and has been pining away for 6 months....

I saw this rental lying around in my house one day and decided to pop it into the DVD machine. Why didn t I gouge my eyes out instead? And how did Cuba Gooding Jr. go from Jerry Maguire (and winning an Oscar for it) to making a film like Boat Trip? The man is too talented to be wasting his time like this. The Love Boat It Is Not Jerry is feeling in the dumps after his longtime girlfriend Felicia says no to marrying him. She must be a hard woman to get over because six months after the break-up, he is still depressed from the rejection. Luckily for Jerry, he has a good friend in Nick who tries.

If there's anything remotely positive about Boat Trip it's Roselyn Sanchez (Chasing Papi) who's basically a film of her own within this celluloid equivalent of fish wrap. And that's where it ends. The good old days: Cuba Gooding Jr. won an Oscar for Jerry McGuire. He went downhill from there. Snow Dogs was bad enough but at least the dogs in that film only got computer-generated funny faces slapped onto them. There is the one he marries; and the one he was supposed to marry before meeting the much more sensitive, kind, appreciative girl.
