Pros: Great music, and lots of it
Cons: Wasn't released 20 years ago
Eric Clapton has long been considered the premier blues guitarist of his generation, working with such monumental blues-rock groups as Cream, Blind Faith, and the Yardbirds. Unfortunately, his solo career always focused on accessible pop tunes rather than the driven blues of his early years, leaving a vacuum for fans of the electric blues. Following the critically acclaimed release of "From the Cradle" in 1996, "Eric Clapton: Blues" marks a return to form for Clapton and offers a broad view of his blues work over the past thirty years. "Blues" is a two-disc set, one with studio cuts and...

Pros: Clapton, his voice, his guitar, his feeling for the music
Cons: -
I've been following Eric Clapton's career fairly closely for quite a few years now. "Blues" has got to be the best Clapton ever! You know how most albums have some filler on them? Pros: An excellent collection of Blues Music
Cons: None
I am a Guitar player myself and admire Eric Clapton's work very much. This collection of songs brings together some of Clapton's most famous songs as well as some blues classics.Clapton doesn't put out many live albums. But the second cd in the package is great. Some great songs on this album are "Before You Accuse Me" , "Have You Ever Loved A Woman","Give Me Strength","Wonderful Tonight", and "Crossroads". If you are a Clapton fan, i recommend you add this to your collection. I recommend these albums from these artists: Stevie Ray Vaughn - "Couldn't Stand The Weather" and B.B. King - Live in..
