Pros:
Vintage blues by mostly vintage players
Cons:
Stephen Stills
This album is "Mojo City!" The late, great Jimmy Rogers turned out one absolutely terrific tribute album with all his pals, namely Clapton, Mick and Keith, Taj Mahal, Jeff Healy (the blind bluesman who plays his axe on his lap), blues giant, Lowell Fulson, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, and last AND least, Stephen Stills (he is just not a blues singer). Jimmy Rogers died just before this album was completed. I had the great fortune to meet him here in Flagstaff a few years ago in a small bar where he was playing. He had a hard time that night because of our 7,000-foot altitude. Nevertheless, he.
