I have seen her in concert only because she toured with a friend of mine and I will be the first to tell you what a horrible person she is! She is rude to her fans, big headed and just an all around jerk to be around. Please DO NOT support her. I saw her make a 5-year-old girl cry because she wouldn't take 2 seconds to sign an autograph. I don't want success for anyone like that and I hope that you don't either!

I have over 5,000 CDs and this is the best of the bunch. Each and every song is delivered wonderfully by this teenage. LeAnn's young voice is second to none.. A simply outstanding group of songs sung beautifully by LeAnn.

This earlier LeAnn Rimes CD, really shows her wide vocal range! The old country sound, complete with yodelling in her voice, is really enjoyable. This is a great first choice CD of this artist's work. I'll be able to hear her musical growth as I buy newer releases.

Blue - Rimes, Le ann 1996I heard Le Ann Rimes on Jay Leno and I liked her voice! I bought three cd's on ebay that she had. I don't go to many concerts but I would go one of hers.

I absolutely love every minute of this CD. It's easy listening and the music has a great beat. I'm not a big fan of country western but I really enjoyed this album.

This CD is just pure, pure, pure. I'm not a huge country fan but bought this cassette (yes - cassette) for my husband way back in the 1990's and am updating some "oldies but goodies" in my collection. This collection of songs is wonderful, from the pop ("One Way Ticket") to the steamy ("My Baby") to the old-timey ("Cattle Call with Eddie Arnold) you get it all and cannot help but be bewildered about how a teenager can sings these songs with the heart she did. There is not a bad song in the batch - ENJOY. It's a classic.

LeAnn Rimes is an excellent singer of country songs, which are included in this CD. The disk was in excellent condition as well as the container and other written materials. I was very happy to find an older example, which I consider her best work, at a reasonable price on eBay.

Lee Ann Rimes won the 1997 Grammy Award for Best New Artist. This is a good album which showcases her nice voice.

Don't get me wrong: the young Miss Rimes has got some pipes. When I first heard Blue (the single), I thought it was Patsy Cline from beyond the grave. In fact, the song was written for the late diva but never recorded due to her untimely death. And LeAnn surely did get it right, the soaring high notes, the longing, the sobbing and the sighing, creating a stir on the country charts and inspiring countless pale imitations by rodeo queens all over the country. Hearing lovelorn sounds like this coming out of a 13-year-old is no less astonishing than Howdy Doody doing a perfect rendition of Hamlet.

I bought this album after hearing Blue on the radio and being BLOWN away. I could tell she was young, but was genuinely impressed by the vocals, not just her age. I learned a little more about this girl and was an instant fan. Her Blue album had three radio releases, all of which I loved: Blue, One Way Ticket (Because I Can), and The Light In Your Eyes. Here's a little bit about each track off of LeAnn's debut album Blue... 1.Blue:Patsy Cline?? Song maybe, vocals, not really. I dare to compare this kid with a country great like Patsy Cline, but I honestly like LeAnn's voice on this song...

I think Leann Rimes is such a great inspiration to the young generation. She sings songs that people of all ages find comforting and enjoyable. She has a beautiful voice. Her song Blue reminds me so much of a Patsy Cline song. This CD has 11 wonderful songs on it. Blue Hurt Me One Way Ticket (Because I Can) My Baby Honestly The Light in your Eyes Talk to Me I'll get even with you Cattle Call Good Lookin' Man Fade to Blue Both "Blue" and "The light in your eyes" made the charts.
