Birdseye - Rich, Tony (CD 1998)

I had first heard about Tony Rich just before I met my then-girlfriend, Lisa. We would listen to "Words", Tony's 1st CD, and dissect certain songs. On a return drive from the mountains of North Carolina, we stopped at a gas station to purchase gas. I was standing at the counter looking at that turnabout with the CD's and cassettes on it. I immediately saw the words, Tony Rich, and I purchased the cassette with the gas. We listened to the cassette all the way back to Greensboro, chosing which songs we loved the most and dissecting them, trying to find the reasons behind the writer's songs. Although we're not seeing each other anymore, I'll only listen to Tony Rich alone.
