Big Ones is a culmination of all of Aerosmith's greatest hits (most of the early 90's). It takes the best of the best from the previous albums and ties it all together for a cassette with romance, humor, sadness, joy, and just plain 'ol Aerosmith spunk.
Steven Tyler and Joe Perry are rock'n'roll masterminds, no doubt about it. Aerosmith is one of the biggest bands to span over 3 decades! Big Ones is sure to please any Aerosmith fan and could easily become your favorite, simply due to the amount of star power and volume of #1 hits this cassette packs in.

You'll Be Cryin' If You Pass Up This Great CD

Pros: great love ballads
Cons: some of the songs I could do without
What can I say about Aerosmith, besides that their music is great! I bought Aerosmith's "Big Ones" 4 years ago because I like just about every song on it. "Big Ones" is full of Aerosmith's biggest and best hits from 1987 to 1994. From "Love In an Elevator" to "Livin' On The Edge" you will be rocking your way to a good time. From Steven Tyler screaming his way through the album to the great guitars you will love this album from beginning to end. The songs 1. "Walk On Water" (4:54) 2. "Love In An Elevator" (5:22) 3. "Rag Doll" (4:24) 4. "What It Takes" (5:10) 5. "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)" (4:23.

Pros: 15 of the many classic Aerosmith songs
Cons: none
This is my entry for Aerocat's Aerosmith write-off. It's been a busy couple of weeks, so I'm taking the easy road and reviewing a greatest hits album. Eventually, I'll up my Aerosmith content. About a year after listening to Get a Grip every single night one summer, I found a new Aerosmith addiction: Big Ones. This album contains their biggest hits from Permanent Vacation, Pump, and Get a Grip, plus a few other nice additions. I had yet to get their first greatest hits album and subsequently check out other full albums, but Big Ones was a perfect way to get me on the right track. It starts...

Pros: It's got the obvious edge up by being an Aerosmith record.
Cons: Some of these songs, well... they suck.
First things first: I like new Aerosmith, probably more than old Aerosmith. I feel that Aerosmith has only gotten stronger after they kicked the drug habit--Steven Tyler s voice has gotten better and more distinctive, the band is probing more risky territory, and they ve gotten closer to the rock aspect of things. Ever since they made their comeback in the mid-80 s, they ve been churning out hit after hit, as well as making some real contemporary hard rock classics. Aerosmith can not only hold their own with the young kids, but they can put the young kids to shame even today. As much as I...

Fair Sampler Of 80s/90s Aerosmith (Aerosmith W/O)

Pros: Some of the better songs from the Geffen era of Aerosmith.
Cons: Some weak ones too, an overabundance of ballads.
There was a time when Aerosmith was my favorite band. I think the same could be said for many people my age or near it, as judging by the number of records the band sold in the 1990s (their biggest success). This Big Ones collection is a pretty good sampling of the best from that era. Big Ones collects nearly all of the singles from three albums: Permanent Vacation, Pump and Get A Grip as well as adding two new songs and the bands contribution to the Beavis and Butthead Experience album. Seeing as all those albums, aside from the classic Pump, were rather inconsistent, this is one-stop...

Essential Aerosmith

Pros: best of Aerosmith
Cons: None
I was raised on Aerosmith and Ozzy Osborne, so when I saw a new Aerosmith CD Big Ones come out I knew I had to have it. I cut my teeth on Toys in the Attic (I had it on eight track) LOL, so I knew this one would be fabulous as well. Wow if you don't know what an eight track player is ask someone older. ;O) Steven Tyler is the best vocalist I have ever listened to he has so many different sounds and ranges depending on the song he is singing. The entire band is "Amazing" in my book. I think everyone can find something to like about this CD. They go all the way from ronchy to romantic. I have..
