Bicentennial Man (2000, DVD)

I love Robin Williams, and I love this movie!! It showed up in perfect condition!! Its a wonderful family story that evolves into a touching futuristic romance. I will watch it over and over again!!

Saw Bicentennial Man several years ago and loved it. Also love Robin Williams. Great DVD that I highly recommend iof you're a fan of Sci-Fi and Robin Williams.

This is the best movie that I can think about that has focused on the better aspects of human philosophy. How is it that we keep evolving and adapting to our surroundings. How our personal demands are different from others and how they are similar at the same time.
This movie should be shown to high school students, in order to make them be more reflexive and understanding in the search for their personal goals.
This is a priceless movie.

I bought this Movie because my Mother just adores it! Robin Williams is excellent in this role. And Mother's Day was approaching and I decided to surprise her with her favorite movie! What a Wonderful Surprise it was! Thank Goodness for Ebay!

The Bicentennial Man is a wonderful film which on many levels is quite surprising.Of the performance of Robin Williams is great.

Excellent movie to put it bluntly. Robin Williams stars in this thought provoking film regarding the quality of life we all desire. I would personally give this movie 4 1/2 stars.

Robin Williams play an evolving robot, who's search for his own humanity becomes the driving force for his existance. I believe that this film is one of the most under-rated stories of our times. The advances in technologies over the last fifty years has taught us the the impossible, might be the improbable,and actually is quite possible.
This movie really does make one think of the possibilities.

This is one of Robin Williams' best performances. The DVD brings out his versatility as an actor. It must be watched on a large screen television for the viewer to truly experience all the little nuances depicted. The comedy and drama are fully realized throughout the recording. Whether you are a Robin Williams fan or not, this movie is truly something else. I know I am not a Roger Ebert but this movie is in my Top 10 movies. I loved how it made me cry, laugh, and wonder. I am just really fortunate because I could not find a copy in retail stores, but Ebay had it :). I would highly recommend this title if you are looking for a cessation from the real world.

the ORIGINAL US VERSION DVD was in near mint condition, and arrived so fast i thought he must have lived next door, what else needs be said.....wow.......ric rainey

I found it to be funny, but of course with Robin Williams starring in it, it would have to be funny. It also has a heart touching vibe to it, at the end, I was in tears. Overall, very touching, and funny film. I reccomend to accentuate any family or date night.

A very nice movie that teaches good leasons but in a fun way.I enjoyed it.It was heartwarming, there were some tears.All in all a good watch.

I first watched this film years ago and immediately feel in love with it. Robin William's character "Andrew" has such a passion for everything around him which most of us take for granted. His appreciation for life is overwhelming. I only wish that I could take the time out of everyday to appreciate the old and look forward to the new as he does.

I saw the movie when it first came out, and looked for it again and again on the premium channels through the years. Finally I bought it on ebay and convinced the family to sit down and watch it with me one Sunday afternoon. Reluctantly, our daughter, her friend and our niece pulled themselves away from their video games and online chats, and my wife set the show she was going to watch to record in the bedroom. The movie started and by the time "Andrew" did the presentation of the 3 laws, (watch the movie to understand), they were all laughing, good 'ole belly laughs at that, and were totally wrapped up in the movie, waiting to see what was to come next. The film offers some lessons, some humor, and some food for thought, it is well done and easy to watch for people of all ages. We all laughed a little and cried alittle, for a while we were ageless, just people watching a good flick, the kids weren't cool, we parents were'nt nerds, it took us away and brought us together, and you can't say that about that many movies anymore. For that reason, Bicentenial Man has earned itself a spot on the shelf of movies we will watch again and again. I highly reccomend this movie, it will leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling.
