I bought this one because as a collector I wanted to have one of these first "wrong cover" pressed copies (the front cover's photo position was later corrected so Madonna's head is pointing up). The rest is exactly the same CD you can get today at your local record store.

MADONNA SOULGreat CD!!! Madonna, once again, shows her brilliance!!! Includes the timeless 'Take A Bow' and the harmonious 'Secret.' Other favorites from this CD are 'Bedtime Story' and 'Human Nature.'

At this pooint, she was arguably the most famous person on the planet, but her ravenous sexual exploits and penchant for controversy threatened to make her more of a celebrity than a talented singer. There was the outrageous "Erotica" album, followed by the astoundingly outrageous "Sex" book. In many ways the flip side to Erotica , Bedtime Stories was Madonna s commercial recovery album, and as such it basically thaws the ice, taking sex and placing it next to love, then letting them snuggle up under the covers. Embracing R n B and soul influences, this album is as warm, gentle and tender as Erotica was cold, harsh and distant.
