I remembered seeing this when it came out & liking it. I was shocked that my wife had never seen it so I bought it to share with her & my young kids. It's still a great movie & everyone enjoyed it. Lots of fun.

If you like ET you will like this film it's about a group of poor tenants on a new york's Lower East side who find there homes are to be demolished by a ruthless developer who wants the land that there home's are bilt on any way the feisty group are delighted when a few visitors from outer space drop in to help out...fild with dazzling special effects, this amusing story of intergalactic warmth stars the acclaimed husband-wife team Hume Cronyn and jessica Tandy as two long term tenants whose faith is rewarded in ways they never would have expected. This is a truely exciting film from start to finish and i'd say go buy this film you will love it i no i did i bought this film because i rember it as a young lad and i no you wont be disappointed this is a fantastic film i give it a 10/10 & a special thanks go's to steven spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy,Frank Marshall,Ronald L.Schwarz and matthew Robbins for making this film.

It is a wonderful movie. My boys just loved as kids.I now have grand kids I want to share it with. This is one of those old time classics.

I remembered this as a cute family movie from the mid eighties.
As it wasn't available as a rental at the movie store I was glad to get it off eBay for a reasonable cost and on DVD.
Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy (a real life husband and wife team) are an awesome pair in this movie. My 13 and 15-year olds were glued to the set though the whole show and said that.." for an older movie the little flying saucer aliens were well blended in and did not look too fake next to live actors"
The story line is nice, just enough comedy and drama mix. I recommend this little gem to anyone!

this movie was very entertaining my daughter loved it when she first seen it and i had to have it for her the price was awesome we just love some of the older movies too hope to do more purchasing of them on the site

This was a gift to my husband. He uses it for video therapy in his mental health therapy. This movie brings out many feelings that some of the clients will share with others or may ask to share in a private session.

I AM A REAL MOVIE BUFF, AND I SEARCHED EBAY PLENTY TIMES FOR THIS MOVIE, BUT WASN'T ENTIRELY SURE ON PRICING. AFTER SOME REALLY DEEP SEARCHING, I FINALLY FOUND A SELLER WHO WAS AT A REASONABLE PRICE, HAD GREAT FEEDBACK, AND OF COURSE HAD EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. I RECIEVED THE MOVIE QUITE SWIFTLY, AND WHEN I PLAYED IT, IT WAS CRYSTAL CLEAR.

If you are looking for a movie to keep your kids' attention, this is a good movie in addition to E.T..

I got my movie very fast and it was in perfect condition when it was listed under like new items! I was most pleased.

My family can watch this movie and not have to worry about what type of words they use or sex sences that might be in movies today.

I saw the movie way back when it first came out in the theatre and was impressed with Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn working together. The story line even though science fictional was very endearing. The special effects weren't to bad either. There are a few swear words in it so I wouldn't advise younger children watching it. Other than that it's not a bad little movie.

This is a clasic movie. It has been one of my favorites for years now. i recomend this one for any age range.

that includes Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn also a great supporting cast.

Classic film that I loved when I was younger, now my kids enjoy it! I think the movie is a must see for the young and old alike, it has something for everyone in it! Worth the money!

I bought this because I remembered watching it a long time ago and LOVING the mmovie. I thought my 12yr old son would like it as well. He balked at first that he HAD to watch it. But once he started watching it he LOVED it!

I recommend this as a great family night movie. They need to make MORE of these now adays.

I wanted this movie for my children and also for myself because it is such a sweet, funny movie but I never got it and I am stil waiting for my refund! Ebay sent me an email stating I will get a refund because I bought it using PayPal but I am still waiting...

this was an unbelievable find for 8.95 plus we found 3 other dvds we wanted from this seller at low prices and combined shipping.would do business with them again and a very fast shipper

this was bought and sent off as a gift. i only have second hand information that it was an enjoyable humorous overtone movie. i would suggest viewing other previews before reccommending an age rating. it may be on packaging, but i'm sorry i didn't look before mailing it off.( in my case it was irrelevant.)sorry i'm not much help on this one!
