Pros:
absolutely none

Cons:
bad acting, worse directing, horrible action, terrible dialogue, pathetic storyline, misuse of colors

It was such an exciting moment to me when I heard that a 4th installment of the Batman franchise was going to be coming out. Stuck without a car, and without someone who wanted to see it with me, I walked to the theaters to see this one (3 miles). What beheld me was such a farce of cinema that I have had nightmares about it ever since. Where the franchise has started out so well with Michael Keaton, and then added a little color with Val Kilmer, they went too far when they thought that a superstar cast could make the 4th movie even better. This time around George Clooney was tapped for the...

One of the first episodes of "Batman: The Animated Series" in 1992 was "Heart of Ice." It took Mr. Freeze and gave him an origin story--what had formerly been a B-Grade villain was elevated into Batman's Elite of Rogues. A Nobel Prize-winning scientist, Victor Fries was working on cryogenic (freezing) technology in an attempt to save his dying wife, Nora. The company he worked for cancelled his funding, and effectively signed his wife's death certificate. An accident with the cryogenic technology changed Fries' body chemistry, making him depend on life support-body armor that kept his body...

Batmosphere (An Entry in the "Kill Me Now" W/O)
Review created: 08/11/01
by: MrsNormanMaine -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Some of the kitschy sets and costumes are kind of fun.

Cons:
No wit, no style, no atmosphere, no acting.

Things have settled back into routine here at Chateau Maine. The floral tributes have been tastefully arranged, Patrick, the cat, has eaten only a few of the less poisonous varieties - he uses plants as self medication for his bulemia but I don't think its working. I have suggested therapy with Dr. Mazursky, the famous pet analyst, but he continues to be most resistant. I'm currently in the process of packing up some of Norman's career mementos for display at Planet Hollywood which will give them the tasteful surroundings they so richly deserve. Joseph, my manager, has suggested that a...
