Back to doing solo work, Annie Lennox returns with a vengeance.
Cons:
Not for the timid, this cd has dark, melancholy themes.
Most will think of Annie Lennox and her glory days as the other half of the eccentric duo of Eurhythmics. When she struck out on her own solo career, two excellent albums, Diva and Medusa appeared. Then there was a long silence. A very long silence. Last week, Bare was released. Full of angst, self-doubt, and lyrics that break your heart to listen to, this is not for the timid or young, I might add.
