Badfinger (Self Titled CD)
The first of Badfinger's Warner Bros. releases, and for my money those were the best of what they did. After leaving Apple, the quality of their writing was on the up, and the production sound took a quantum leap under Chris Thomas. Favorite cuts include "I Miss You" and "Why Don't We Talk." Most of the album is of comparable quality. If you like Badfinger, you owe it to yourself to listen to this CD, and the one that followed it, "Wish You Were Here." A great bit of work from one of Pop/Rock's most underrated, near forgotten bands.
