Babylon 5 - The Complete Seasons 1-5 (2004, DVD)

This product was an incomplete bootleg copy of these DVDs. eBay sent me an email saying I should contact PayPal to get my money back. PayPal blew me off the first time and closed the complaint. I protested to eBay and PayPal sent me an email stating they were looking into it. It's been a couple of weeks now since I heard from them.

What good is PayPal's protection if all they do is nothing!

I haven't purchased anything from eBay since.

I watched this show many years ago and just loved it. I could only catch occasional episodes anymore and never in any order so I thought if I bought the series I could watch them all again and in order. This is the way it was meant to be watched!! I'm nearly through season 2 and am SOOO enjoying this. It's like reconnecting with old friends. I've even seen an episode I had never seen. Watching them all in order is just fun and it all makes sense.

The items were new and in perfect condition, just as promised. Shipping was very fast, and I was able to track my shipment the entire time. I am perfectly satisfied with this transaction, and would recommend the seller.

I remember watching this show as a younger person. In reviews done by many other people stating that Star trek had to take a back seat to this show. Believe it, this show was great and should be in a hall of fame. its writer J. Michael Straczynski had an amazing view of the future full of aliens and telepaths.

i would recommend this series to anyone who is a SCI-FI fan. Anyone who likes a long struggle through difficult times. coming together to over come incredible odds. Inspiring, in its profound story.

Babylon 5 was the first great space serial on television for me. It was the forerunner for Farscape, Firefly, and Battlestar Galactica. If you liked those shows you will love this one. The inter-play between characters became important and not the special effects. Although the special effects are great I have to admit that they get better as time goes on. It is really worth the cost to see this show.

the show held its own with startrek running at the same time very good lots of differant aliens has a good time line and plot tists some under lieing plots aswell

Before Stargate or Battlestar Galactica there was Babylon 5 and Star Trek two show that define Scifi for then on and set the standard of what a space show about aliens and space should be both battle and every year either Star Trek or Babylon 5 would come out on top. I personally remember this show and love even minute of it in my opinion sopme of the best hours of T.V.

This is one of the best Sci-Fi series that was ever aired on television. There were continuous unexpected twists and turns every week making impossible not to tune in the following week. I bought this series to watch it all over again from the beginning and maybe see some of the episodes that were previously missed.

This collection of the entire Babylon 5 TV series is great! The collection is well-layed-out, with 4 episodes per disc. My only complaints would be that the graphics technology of the time doesn't hold up so well on a large wide-screen TV, so the space and battle scenes are a little grainy. Also, the DVD folders inside each boxed season are a little flimsy, so be gentle with them. We are loving watching this series again! Highly recommended.

Good prices, quick shipping. Some of the DVD's are badly scratched which makes me wonder if these were "new" as shown in listing.

Our Family loves it!!! We are hugh B5 fans, and had been looking for the complete series in our local retail stores for years; however, we were only able to purchase individual episodes. When I saw the complete series on ebay, I jumped in, and was able use the buy it now feature to purchase this product at a great price. It arrived before Christmas, and my Family was truly surprised on christmas morning. Since Christmas, we have watched every episode. The color, sound, and extra features are all great. For our Family, this was a super purchase, and I would recommend it to all scifi fans.

Set in it's own great setting of the future it's a great series to watch the adventures of the crew of Babylon 5. I would highly recommend it to any sci-fi fan!

These items are normaly three times the amount i paid on ebay. These items are getting rarer and harder to come by. The biggest reason for the purchase was to save $200 dollars if I had bought them form the local blockbuster.

There are TWO types of DVD sets available. The set we bought is not what is pictured here- in five separate black boxes. What we bought is in the purple and white single "gift box"- a set of 30 DVDs. It is a very poor quality copy, although it says it is licensed. That, of course, means nothing. The back of the box that lists copyright info. has terrible misspellings- translated by someone who did not have an understanding of the English language- only an English dictionary.

Example: Supplementaty Materials, Package Arwork, Design & summary c 1999 tumer Entertainment C. And wraaer home Video. Avakiablefrom Wamer home Video, a time Wamer entertainment Comoant,...." etc.

That should have been the first clue. Its hilarious except for the fact that we spent over $100 on this item and should have returned it immediately. I can't imagine that Warner Brothers would allow that, but we were naive to think that all copies are the same and that there would be no such thing as a bootleg (?) available (or Avakiable) on such a well-known outlet as Ebay.

The quality of the DVDs is suspect as well. The video quality is not consistent- at times there is interference or skipping. Also, NONE of the commentary works on any of the disks. Instead, you will get a Chinese voice-over. Also, the episodes are out of order on at least one of the disks.

Had we known all of this, we would have spent another $75 for a good copy, but it was a slow realization after watching all the disks that we did not get everything we were expecting. In spite of it all, we enjoyed the series. We will be wiser next time.

I bought Babylon 5 complete set 1-5 a few weeks ago. It great having seasons 1-5 all on dvd. Its a excellent show to watch over and over again. If you like star trek you will love Babylon 5! My only complaint is that some of the disc's didn't work right.

When the series originally came out I followed it all through, even when they changed the network. This is the series that changed FXing for all other sci-fi programs! I'm also glad the the later dvds were improved, in terms of keeping the whole episodes in the better aspect ratio.

Babilon 5 is a great peice of work. The script writers did a really good job on most of the episodes and they did a great job on the rest of the episodes! The movie is still striking the imagination both for me and for my 12 years old daughter. Great characters and great actors! Me heart B5!

Arrived in brand new excellent condition. Husband loved the show when it was on and has missed a lot of the episodes. He is extremely happy with this set. He gets to see it all from the beginning. The characters he loves and the pictures quality. And best of all . . . . . NO COMMERCIALS. This alone is worh buying. When you consider the quality of the reality shows on TV today. This is a wonderful diversion. I feel that as the programing on TV detiorates more and more of us are going to be purchasing our favorites.
