I thought the book was very cute, and nicely written, but...there were not nearly enough pictures to really explain the items you are supposed to be making. It felt like half of the projects had only a partial picture, so you have no idea what the whole item will look like when done. The worst of all was the project for the dresser and the polka dot chair. They only had a picture of the top corner of the dresser, and NO picture at all, anywhere in the book of the polka dot chair. It just didn't make sense. I like lots of pictures so that I can get the idea of the basic construction of the item, and while some of them were well represented, most were not. Overall, the ideas presented were very sweet, and would make lovely baby gifts. But this book is NOT for a beginner. Most of the projects need someone with more sewing experience to get through their brief instructions, and the confidence to sew with the expensive fabrics and such recommended for several of the projects, without the fear of ruining them. So I think this was a nice book for inspiration and several cute ideas, but NOT one that I would go back to over and over again.
