Baby Einstein(TM): On The Go - Riding Sailing And Soaring (2005, DVD)

GREAT movie for all children,I believe the older little people enjoy the movie better than the younger ones...my grandson is 2 1/2 and he enjoys all the Einstein movies better now than when he was younger..(longer attention span!!)
This movie shows different types of transportation keeps the children watching especially the boys...I'm adding this movie to my collection of Baby Einstein Movies...have a new grandchild on the way to give them to.....If possible try to rent any movie first to see if anyone in the household is interested....that way you save movie and don't have alot of movies lying around...

Not as great as the other baby einstein shows, but it is sufficient enough for my son! He would probably give it a five, for sure. I decided to buy this one because it completes the set (if only I knew beforehand, I would have purchased a lot of them off of ebay!). But, yeah, worth it still!

I never received the Baby Einstein DVD and the customer service DID NOT help me resolve this problem. They kept sending me the same response - after I emailed numerous times stating that I never received the item and was unable to find these purchases under "My purchases" . I still do not have the DVD and have wasted hours tryong to resolve this issue. I will never use this service again.

The name "Baby Einstein" can trick parents into believing it's okay or even good for their babies to watch it, but the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no television AT ALL to children under 2 because so many studies have proven its harmful effects on children. Studies have shown that:

- for every hour of television a baby watches a day, their chances of acquiring an attention deficit disorder increases by 10%.
- among babies ages 8 months to 16 months, every hour spent daily watching programs such as 'Brainy Baby' or 'Baby Einstein' translated into six to eight fewer words in their vocabularies as compared with other children their age."
- brain wave activity in babies is slower when watching television than when sleeping.

"Signing Time" (Two Little Hands Productions) DVDs is an excellent option for OCCASIONAL video viewing because communicating in sign language with your child is proven to:

- reduce frustration and tantrums
- accelerate language development
- promote parent-child bonding

Last thing for new moms - carrying newborn babies (in arms or next to body) an extra 3 hours a day resulted in 40% less crying. So carrying baby in a carrier or sling can help calm fussy babies!

This DVD was purchased to replace a damaged one that my grandson has had since he was 6 months old. I think of all the Baby Einstein series this program has the most to captivate a boys mind (from 6 months to 4 years). My grandson likes it now as a reading tool. The 'real life' pictures are incredible & the Einstein characters are more interesting to the young mind than cartoons.

My 6 month old son LOVES Baby Einstein movies. I have noticed that he loves the animal ones the most so I bought this movie through EBAY. Buying this way saves me time and money being a very busy mother! My son and myself recommend EBAY and this movie!

The Baby Einstein: "On the Go" DVD was in mint condition, in a clear thin jewel box. I would recommend this product.

The best thing about this show is the exposure to lots of things that move. Where we live, we don't see a lot of trains, planes or jets, so it was a nice way to show our daughter what these things were. She was captivated by the episode, and watched it almost exclusively for a week. Since then, she's identified many of the different vehicles when we walk or take a drive.

It's a great episode for kids who are a year old and older. The colours, puppets, and video clips are a super way for kids to learn about all the different things in the world that move, beyond cars and trucks! It's great because it has things in a toddler's world that move, too -- bike, stroller, trike, etc.

Definitely a must have for any Baby Einstein lover, and great for parents trying to increase their little one's vocabulary.

it is great! my 10 month old baby loves to watch it. I like it too! It was less than half of the price new.

I bought it for my newborn. Not as good as the other baby einsteins videos. It uses animation instead of real life objects

My son is almost 2 and we have a few of the Baby Einstein Videos. He loves this one for the sounds of the cars and trucks and trains and such. He calls them out when we are on the street and he spots one. These videos have been a saving grace in our home. When he gets overactive or just needs a few minutes to regroup (or i do) i pop one in and he is in awe for 20 minutes. Shouting out names and sounds in no time.
The other favorites of his are the Old Macdonald and the neighborhood animals. I love the products and will continue showing them to him. I believe these have helped his speaking and association skills much more than that Purple Dinosaur would ever do.

I liked the product, the price, and the variety of DVD's that were offered. The process was simple and fast. The product came well packaged and faster than I expected.

I decided to buy this movie for my daughter because she really loves cars and trains. She loves this movie. I think that it's her favorite for the moment.
