Baby Einstein - Baby's Favorite Places First Words Around Town (2006, DVD)

This is a really nice dvd, it help a lot and my baby is very interest on it. Highly recommended. Explains the neighborhood and daily places, very clear!

I am a speech pathologist who works with infants and toddlers. The children I work with and their parents have all loved this DVD. It holds the childrens' attention, and they will frequently sign or speak along with it. The video features children and adults demonstrating signs, engaging puppets, photos, illustrations and video clips. Love it!

I like the baby einstein dvds, becuase my son will sit down and watch these, and they are very good with helping him learn. All children should have Baby Einstein DVDS, to encourage them to learn!

My grandsons loved it. They are fans of all the Baby Einstein items. They collect all the DVDs. Nana buys them when she gets a good price on Ebay!

I bought what I thought was a REAL DVD by disney, infact not only did I purchase this 1, but I purchased an entire set which I later found to be pritated movies. Theses movies are NOT disney originals, yet they are made to think so. EBAY must have some sort of responsibility for this scam....
I am disappointed that EBAY charges an enormous fee to see items, yet they follow closely to see thst you pay them for their fees and claim to protect their buyers, when infact they are not at all concerned with items sols that are fakess or items sold that are on re-calls....
Shame on EBAY and I'm scammed out of about $100 total....

You asked for a review EBay you got one, bet this never hits the pages of EBAY for public viewing uhh???? don't want this bad publicity do ya????
We shall see......I didn't realize the items I purchased were illegal until after purchasing them. Now I own illegal movies and can face criminal charges for owning priated movies.. Thanks EBAY

The name "Baby Einstein" can trick parents into believing it's okay or even good for their babies to watch it, but the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no television AT ALL to children under 2 because so many studies have proven its harmful effects on children. Studies have shown that:

- brain wave activity in babies is slower when watching television than when sleeping.

- promote parent-child bonding

Last thing for new moms - carrying newborn babies (in arms or next to body) an extra 3 hours a day resulted in 40% less crying. So carrying baby in a carrier or sling can help calm fussy babies!

I BOUGHT IT FOR MY DAUGHTER FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. EDUCATION IS SO IMPORTANT. DVDS THAT ARE EDUCATION ARE THE BEST ONES. YOU CAN REINFORCE IDEAS YOU ARE ALREADY TRYING TO TEACH YOUR CHILD. THIS DVD IS HIGH QUALITY AND NAME BRAND. SHE ENJOYS IT. I LOOK FORWARD TO BUYING HER OTHER DVDS ONLINE/EBAY IN THE FUTURE.

This dvd has helped my son to learn more words. His vocabulary grew so much after watching this dvd a couple times. Baby Einstein does wonders for childrens minds. I bought it because he is learning spanish and english but he was only speaking spanish and i wanted him to speak more of english. I love it!!

My 16 month old daughter loves all the baby einstein videos. Not this one. It is too advanced for her and really moves around a lot. Not as good as the others. Don't waste your time and money on this one.

The DVD is great, very educational, it's just a little too old for our baby just yet! But he'll grow into it. I decided to purchase the DVD on ebay b/c of the great deal I got on the DVD; this would have been at least a $20 purchase in a retail store, and I got it for a fraction of the price, including shipping! It arrived very quickly, and was in still in its wrapper - a brand new DVD for a great price!

Love the baby einstein product line, grandchildren enjoy and don't realize that they are learning as they play & enjoy. The DVD'S I purchased, saved about 50% on E-Bay, they were brand new in package & gave as gifts.

My daughter is 23months old and she loves baby einstein more than anything. She loves to watch this video. She dances along with the video. We have all the Einsteins and love them all. Thanks

This is a wonderful video that teaches color, sound and words. This is our second Baby Einstein video, the first being Baby Neptune and I am sure we will purchase more.
Whenver I let my son watch TV he would rather watch these videos over cartoons on cable TV!!

I was very disappointed with this particular Baby Einstein movie. It is not fun like the others. It is very boring!!! Usually in the other ones my 2 year old gets up and dances with the movie and watches the whole movie. This one he did not even want to finish watching. This movie mainly focuses on teaching children sign language. That is the only good thing out of the whole movie. I would NOT recommend buying this movie.

My son absolutely loves this movie. He was repeating the words and attempting to do the sign language the first time that he watched it. I think it is great that these movies are teaching children multiple languages at such a young age!

As always, Baby Einstein is a great item to get for children, for any occasion! They have really set the mark for child tv / entertainment. Combining fun with learning. Baby Einstein is great! My children haev ALL of the dvd's, actually. And my 8 year old will sit and watch them, just as my 4 year old will. The shows / programs tend to capture the attention of just about any child. Best age is 18 months to 6 years.

The Baby Einstgein product is an outstanding conept. Coming from a family of educators and understanding the diversity of learning tools in which each DVD provides, I beleive this is a must for any young child. I now have the whole collection of Baby Einstein and anxiously await a new release.

I decided to buy this product because I wanted all the collection of DVD's for my daughter. I found that this product and baby wordsworth are excellent for begin to learn sign language. My daughter and I love the bonus material (twinkle, twinkle little star in sign language). For me is excellent because my daugther that is 14 months is doing sign of words that she can't say.

My 22 month old daughter is actually starting to pick up on some of the sign language shown in this DVD. She squeals when I put it in the DVD player and she dances to the music and talks and signs along with the DVD. We love all the Baby Einstein DVDs but this one is the best so far and they just keep getting better and better!

I just bought this for my 14 Month old daughter and she loves it, as she does most of the Baby Einstein DVD's. This particular one happens to be one of her favorites. I would recommend this DVD for anyone who is interested in the Baby Einstein DVD products.
