Baby Bargains by Alan Fields, Denise Fields (1999)

Here's the gift I always give a new mom...Baby Bargains. It is a must have BEFORE registering for any products, and it is helpful in numerous ways. It provides advice on which stroller or car seat to buy, and it explains reasons for the ratings. In addition, it gives helpful money saving tips for parents. I used it to select everything on my registry, and I have not been disappointed. All of the items I chose were exactly as described.

The authors of the book, the Fields, also have a website that keeps up-to-date information about new products and product recalls. I have contributed to the discussion board frequently, which allows you to ask questions of other readers or find out their opinions about products not yet reviewed.

Don't waste money on unneeded items or items of little quality--BUY this book first and then choose your baby items.
