It was advertised other places for much more. I found it here for so much less!! I have been an ebay member for the last 6 years now. I have sold many items but I still get that same feeling when I find a killer deal! This was one of those times too! Over $100 cheaper than anywhere else. The item works great and has been entertaining my 2 boys on long trips. 4 trips so far with no problems!!

I got this item, because I needed it for my car (to keep my kids calm in the car)and it's working fine. so I'm happy with my purchase.

This was my only attempt to make a purchase and it was a very bad experience. I wanted the item because I was going into the hospital for surgery which would require long term recuperation. The seller refused my PayPal payment twice and then reported me for non-payment. I was in the hospital at the time the report was made and unable to respond for several weeks so I had a non-pay strike on my record. Luckily for me, the staff at EBay was understanding to my situation and removed the strike but I will be extremely careful in the future and probably buy from EBay stores rather than individuals. Some sellers are extremely strict and rude, as was the seller of that item.

i think this is a nice little dvd player for people on the go, that have kids. if you don't have a entertainment system in you vehicle, this will work just fine to keep the kids occupied. can be plugged into lighter receptical or you can plug it into you ac outlet at home. i live in florida, and from june to november, hurricanes and tropical storms are a certainty. needless to say we floridians often have extended power outages. this dvd player can run off of it's battery pack, and keep the entire family entertained.

I am just playing with it now. the sound of the dvd spinning is a bit loud. super speakers, very nice picture considering the size of the frame. nice battery life. very light so it is conveinent to carry around where ever you go. for the money it was an ok buy.
i had much more expensive that die in months. this time i won't cry over a $200 player.

Great product. The color and sound are sharp and clear. It is easy to attach to the back of the seat and is easy to use.
I would reccomend this product to anyone looking for a portable DVD player. And the duel screens are an amazing feature. Great for the whole family on trips.

battery pack non-functional, need new one, costing 90.00, when i paid much less than that for the product. the ad stated that he couldn't figure out WHY the battery wasn't charging, not that the batter was non-functional at all. not all items promised in ad were received, the shipping box had a large hole in it, and there was NO packing material, so items slid around in box, and most likely items may have fallen out of hole. i'd be skeptical about dealing with this seller again.

I find it a good way to look for things that is not always easy to get near you. Most of the time you get what you are looking at when you win the biding. I always like winning a bid but some times things does not go as hoped and it takes a little work to come to a good ending. With the help of E-Bay every thing turns out right for seller and buyer most of the time.Of courase I do not like not winning the bid. A good way of finding what I am looking for and a chance to buy it.

I have never owned this type of product so I have very little to compare it to. I do believe, however that this unit is well worth the money.

I was going on a train trip and so I bought it for that. It was easy to pack and easy to use. It was a little heavier that I'd like but still workable. It was sent in excellant time and just as advertised.

This is a great item it plays dvds with true clarity and sound.The battery seems to last a long time. And the overall quality is great. I would definatly by this product again.

it was just as described it was in good condition i didnt realize the add read the battery was no good i realized the price was too much after the fact for it with a damaged battery but overall the ebayer was honest with their add it wa i who did not read thoughly , the product does work excellent with an adapter

We've had ours for about a year or so. It's never let us down. When our other 2 dvd players were on the fritz and wouldn't play a disc, this one always would. The battery does last about 2 1/2 hours but we plug it in for the most part. The only possible problem is that one of the two headphone jacks also lets sound come out the speakers at the same time, I don't know if it's supposed to do that, but it's not an issue with us. We just bought another one because this one was so reliable.

Bought this with 2 screens and after 3 uses and a few days after the warranty ran out (only 3 mos) one screen went dark orange on main unit. They want $90 plus shipping to fix it at Audiovox who was no help at all. Try reaching them for assistance (impossible.) I would avoid this product. It only makes a good door stop. We paid almost $200 new with the 2 screens and all the accessories.

This looks better in person than on the screen. Great transaction, fast, reliable, would use again.

It has a large screen and is in perfect condition. The DVD player came with the different power cords, as well as the carrying case. Also, I received it in 2 days!

I have recently bought Audiovox D1708 Portable DVD Player off of eBay. I would not pay a retail price for it, as I don't think it worth the price, but eBay's $40 is perfect. This is a great player, with about 2.5 hrs of battery life. Good sound quality via speakers and great quality via headphones. Good picture quality. It's a bit bulky and heavy, especially when battery is attached, however if there's an outlet, battery can be detached.
Another great thing is that it can be hacked to open All Regions which was a key for me when choosing a player. Just make sure, when buying on eBay, to get a remote for it - otherwise hack won't work.
Overall, nothing fancy, but strong 'Good' for this player.

Heard that, of all similar brands, this one was high on the list of favorites.
Price was right, quality as expected and condition new as described.

its great because good for travel which I still travel and kill my time to avoid boring. I suggest anyone should buy for their worth time.

I really think this is excellent i bought this as a christmas present for my 4 year old daughter and she knows how to set it up and watches her movies and its portablr so wherever we go she can watch movies and it keeps her extremely happy. This is a wonderful system and a great price,
