Great Graphics, Great Gameplay, Great Game

Assassins Creed is about a skilled Assassin named Altair who lived during the third Crusade in the year 1191. His objective is to slay the nine historical figures who are propagating the Crusades

This game deserve a 5 out 5 because of its great game play, smooth graphics and game features. The best feature of the game is that you are able to climb any building throughout the three historically correct cities of Jerusalem, Acre and Damascus. In between the cities you can ride on horseback through different environments and meet new enemies.

Another great thing is the side missions such as saving citizens, pickpocketing people, spying, and finding different items are very fun.

Every thing in this game is interactive such as the crowd filled with beggars who just keep begging you for money. You can push people out of you way, or if your running to fast you might actually trip over one. You can also blend in with priests to get into heavily guarded areas. There are also many different places to hide just in case you need to make a quick escape. You can hide in hay stacks, small huts on top of roofs and blend in with the crowd.

There are infinite things do in this game and infinite ways to do them and that is another reason this game deserves a 5 out of 5.

Fun game, lots of gameplay, great graphics!

I only gave this a 4/5 because it is not a quite a 5.. maybe 4 1/2. There is a lot of stuff to do and it is a free-world enviornment. You can pretty much go anywhere and climb anything. Unfortunately, you cant go in any doors (like Oblivion). The main missions of the game have you assassinating 9 key members of society. You must pickpocket, beat, or evesdrop your information from people. Once you have enough information about your target, you can continue with your assassination attempt. Besides the main missions, there are over 400 flags to find and 60 mini-assassination missions troughout the huge map. There are people everywhere and they can help or hinder you. Some push you for no reason and can pick fights. Others are just there to get in your way. Everything you do must be "socially acceptable", or the guards will be on alert about you.

This game is alot of fun and can take upto 40 hours of gameplay to complete all missions in the game. The graphics are very good and are fun to watch. This game also has no online mode, so you'll be flying solo this whole game.

Awesome graphics and freedom to roam around.

Good things - as per title. You can lose yourself just wandering around or marveling at the scenery
Bad things - it gets boring about half-way through; the consecutive tasks aren't much different from the previous ones. Side_quests are waste of time since they're not required to move forward and finishing them doesn't give you anything extra other than sore fingers. Same for collecting flags. What's up with the achievements? WTF do those suppose to do? And then there's the ending... or lack of thereof. I just hope the sequel will make more sense, but it's just me.

Great game. Had my doubts at first, but once I started to play it I was hooked. Played right till I finished it. Good as it is advertised. Wouldn`t pay $60.00 for though, or any game when Ebay gives you the opportunity to purchase them at half price.

This is a very good game. Its right there with the Call of Dutys, Vegas and Resistance" Fall of Man". I like these games on PS-3 instead of Xbox 360.

The first time I payed this game, I noticed that the graphics were superb, The environment were excellent and so are the people in the game. The details are just flawless. The open environment and free roaming is beutiful. The game play is so smooth and the AI is excellent. The story line will blow anyone's mind. the action and abilities of the character is insanely awesome. This is one game that when you start, you will get addicted to playing. The different kind of assassination methods involved is just awesome. I bought the game because a coworker was talking about the game. I would recommend this game to anyone. And the price I paid for the game is very cheap compared to what you get in the game. Again Highly recommended.

Visually this game is incredible. The cities and countryside are amazing. The story keep your interest and the gameplay is challenging. My only issue is that the game play is repetitive and to beat the bosses you just need to run around alot while you health increases. I found that once I did that the bosses became very easy to beat.

Get one for FREE!!! Have a look at this video first:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFKYVE__Mug

Just take 2 minutes and read this. This is very EASY to do! It literally takes 10 minutes to setup. Simply follow the steps below. I promise you, this is 100% real. I wouldn't jeopardize my eBay account status if this was a scam. My feedback is real and I will answer you on any question! Here is what you do. Click on the link below, register, pick an account type (referral is the easiest) and complete just 1 offer (Very important that you complete the 1 offer otherwise your account will sit in limbo until you do). This is not like other sites where you need to complete one offer on 2 or 3 different pages!!! And a lot of these offers are FREE trials with nothing else to buy...No commitments!!!

There are plenty of cool offers to choose from such as Blockbuster online, Stamp.com, Netflix, Gamefly which are services you would regularly sign up for anyways and their all secure networks, why not use them to get a free PS3 System or cash (I did the Dermacia.com for a 30 day free trial and it only cost me shipping & handling and i got credit for it the same day). Look at the offers and choose the one that works for you. After signing up and completing your one offer, simply refer 8-13 people (depending on the FREE prize you choose) to do the same under your link (just post the same thing as I have on eBay, and you'll get your referrals before the auction even ends.)

Then they will ship your PS3 System or your selected item for free, I chose the PS3 80gb System. No Joke, 100% REAL!!! The reason these companies make money, is because most people don't bother getting all the referrals. All you have to do is post it on EBAY! They use us as advertisement by word of mouth which saves them tons of money which goes toward yours and my free gift. These are legit companies such as Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly etc... You can copy my listing if you want. You must use your own authentic link though. You will get your own personal link after your orders placed.

Step 1: Click this link: http://www.YourPS34free.com/index.php?ref=4333522

Step 2: Sign up and chose an account type (Referral is the easiest and best).

  What ebay sellers should be
Review created: 04/22/08
by:

This ebay seller is a perfect example of the way sellers should do. They were absolutely perfect with the trasnaction action from start to finish. I received the game in a timely manner. The shipping cost was not outrageous at all like some ebay sellers do. Even though it was media mail, well that is what I was charged. All I have to say is if you want to get your product in a timely manner in the way it states it is. Well, this is your guy.

I like the game a lot but I am not so sure I like the story line. I have only started to play it so I don't really know if I can make a good judgement on whether or not I like the story yet. The graphics are awesome and the controls are easy to learn and remember. I love the shoot 'em games but this game is a really good sword combat game. Overall, I really enjoy playing Assassin's Creed and would recommend it to anyone I know.

  flaws of Assassins's Creed
Review created: 04/14/08

Overall, it is a good game and well put together.

However, there is too much repetition in the game. The same characters in all 4 of the cities say the exact same lines, and they get old quick.

You do the same thing every mission: you get the mission, have to run through the home town, you travel by horse to the country side, walk into the town with the scalars, find the assassins bureau, get 3/6 information points, while going to the viewpoint to see more area, go back to the bureau to get you intended target, take out the target, and go back to the bureau to be send back to your master.
This happens every time as you take out nine targets!

The warning system when you kill is really lame. You can kill everyone around you, or kill the guards around a citizen, and afterwards all you have to do is fold your hands for everyone to forget it was just you, or just run a block away.

I mean you wear a white robe, and you are killing with a sword! After one kill you would be covered head to toe in blood.

I also wish that the plot twist of having it all happen through a virtual simulator was taken out. It would have been cooler to integrate it into the game play where you find weird symbols and everything you are doing is part of your memory. It would have added more to playing through the game rather than having to go to that gray future room and have to sleep every night.

This game has some very frustrating features, but on the whole is an excellent start to the trilogy.

I get upset with the controls, as it seems that they can get locked onto an action whether you want it or not. They can also be sluggish when it comes to countering/dodging/etc. The camera seems to have been designed by an amateur, as you will be in the middle of a fight scene and you are suddenly staring at a tree or a building instead of the character.

The graphics, overall gameplay, storyline, etc are INCREDIBLE. Even with my issues, I give the game a 9.5 out of 10.

  **Assassin's Creed Review*
Review created: 04/13/08
by:
4 of 4 people found this review helpful.

Assassin's Creed is a bloody dive into a beautiful world of warriors and the assassins who hate them. Beautiful animation, stylish low-saturation graphics, and city-wide chases are all fundamentally wonderful in Creed. There really isn't another game quite like it. Unfortunately, there isn't another game with issues quite like Creed's, either. Assassin's Creed tries to be a stealth game, an action game, a stealth kill game and a platformer, and to innovate in each category. But for each amazing step forward, Creed takes a half-step back.

Quietly Killing Time

Assassin's Creed revolves around the assassinations of nine key targets in the Third Crusade (as well as some "other" points in history). Acre, Jerusalem, and Damascus are rendered in beautiful grays and earth tones, creating the effect of free-running across a giant tomb. It's in the free-running that you'll find the game's most original and satisfying gameplay, tearing across cities as medieval hitman Altair.

By holding down a trigger and the action button, Altair can nimbly ascend anything. Once you're free-running, gameplay becomes about maintaining a perfect line of motion rather than hitting the jump button at just the right time. There's a very steep learning curve, because these free-running portions look more like platforming than they actually play. The basic idea is to hold down the free-running buttons and point Altair in the right direction. Your job isn't to micromanage jumps; your job is to point Altair towards his victims and make sure they die cleanly.

In order to secure your targets' deaths, you have to climb a few "synchronization points," the tallest buildings in a city's district. Each district has half a dozen or more of these, with each city divided into three districts. Climbing to the very highest point of these structures is really fun. There isn't any other game that quite captures the heart-pounding pleasure of simply ascending, endlessly, with nothing but your wits and fingertips to guide you.

Each sync point unveils a roundup of choices on your mini-map, including citizens to rescue (who'll then help you later) and various clues you'll have to unlock in order to earn permission to kill your target. You might have to interrogate an enemy agent, pickpocket a map, or simply kill a few Templars without being caught -- and within a time limit.
While that sounds like a forgiving, interesting way to represent "investigating" your target, the mission types all blur into a homogenous mix of unskippable introductory cut-scenes and difficulty that is always too hard or too easy. Until mission seven, the toughest job you're likely to have is to go to your HUD marker, sit at the bench, and hit the Y button to listen in on a conversation.

I've Never Run

But once you hit the seventh mission, the timed stealth murder sprees become trial and error, simply hoping you can make your hits before some random guard bumps into you, forcing you to redo the entire mission. They're not long, but it's an irritant to repeat the same mini-mission over and over again. More disappointing, chances to explain why your target deserves to die are passed up for simple chatter. Each mini-mission's cut-scene is merely exposition, always telling instead of showing.

Missions in free-roaming, open-world games give the player a sense of direction, a sense of not being lost in the world.
Overall Rating- 10/10

it's great, real fun, only thing bad it's that it can be repetitive at times, yet it does get a lil' harder everytime on missions. u get to learn the controls real quick since during game it teaches u how to do moves/attacks. i had a good time beating it. most people say it's a rent, but i don't mind keeping it, especially when u buy it cheaper on ebay then for $60 at the retail store.

The game was never tough for me, I always found a way to get across some obstacle. If you were sad that the fun ended and own the PC version... Maybe you own Oblivion as well? If so Google search for the Assassin's Creed Skins, you can wear all the armor, get the arm blades and everything in the packs!

Review created: 04/08/08

My son and boyfriend like this game. At first when I put it in the console I thought it was a movie but it was synopes of the story of the assassin. I thought that was pretty good. It takes you back in the assassin's memory however the memory is the game. You have different challeges to meet and various people you have to kill but you must uphold the creed to not kill innocent people and to not bring shame to your people.

I feel if you enjoy games with a story line then you will like this one.
