Pros:
Great representation of the first 20 years of their career
Cons:
only covers the first 2/3 of their career
The Manhattan Transfer have been around for about 30 years now - it is frightening how times flies! They keep recording and going on. Although this album is nearly 10 years old (a greatest hits compendium can be difficult to own if the group continues to record) but it does a comprehensive look at the first 20 years of their career. The unfortunate part of this album is that they have recorded many other very good albums during the past decade which are not in this album. Although there have been some personnel changes in the group since its incarnation, their sound remains the same. They do..
