And Then There Were None

This is a very good adaptation of Agatha Christie's murder mystery "And Then There Were None." If you are into who done it's, you need to get this one. First the bad news; this production was made in 1945 and so it is in Black and White, and some of the long shots are not as crisp as you would like. But the audio is good, the story is excellent, and the acting is outstanding. The cast is made up of many familiar faces. Barry Fitzgerald (Going my Way, The Quiet Man, etc.), Walter Huston (Treasure of Sierra Madre), Roland Young (Topper), Louis Hayward (Man in the Iron Mask), and Rod La Rocque (Beyond Tomorrow.)
Ten people, each with a dark secret, are invited to stay on a secluded island estate by a mysterious host, where they are murdered one by one. Sounds like "House on Haunted Hill" with Vincent Price, but it is earlier and with better casting. You will not know who the murder is until the very end. You keep on asking yourself who is from the remaining characters and then another one gets knocked off. and you have to make another guess.
Bottom line, this is a must get for Agatha Christie fans, or murder mystery buffs of all ages.
