Pros: Wonderful....
Cons: none
If you like Bluegrass, you need to check out the latest bluegrass of Ricky Skaggs. Although only 3 of the songs are new songs, this is truly a Skaggs classic! This CD consist of some of Ricky s favorite bluegrass standards. I can see them quickly becoming mine too. Kept true to the original artist, each song now has Ricky s personal stamp. He did a wonderful job of recording this CD. Although I enjoy original down home bluegrass, I enjoyed hearing the old standards recorded in digital format. Each song has a new crisp fresh sound. I can easily see this as being one of my favorite CD s. Check..

Pros: One of the absolute best bluegrass albums out there!!!
Cons: none
This is the second album Ricky has recorded under his new record label, "Skaggs Family Records". This one is every bit as good as the first one. The band is the best bluegrass pickers that I've ever heard in my 38 years! As a bluegrass musician myself, I truly appreciate the amazing instramentals and vocals by Ricky and his band. As you may know, Ricky has been playing bluegrass since he was "knee high to a june bug". He got his first job with Ralph Stanley at the age of 16. He also played with the legendary Bill Monroe. This CD is a MUST for anyone who likes bluegrass music. In fact, I would.
