An Offer From A Gentleman is the third book in Julia Quinn's "Bridgerton" series. In case you have not read my review of The Viscount Who Loved Me, I will give a quick recap of the series. Julia Quinn is a romance writer and her Bridgerton series is the story of the Bridgerton family, whose children all have alphabetical names. The Anthony, followed by Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and Hyacinth. ...but what is tiredness compared to this book? What a beautiful, romantic, funny story! I picked up An Offer From A Gentleman last Saturday just for a way to pass time. It appealed to me because its jacket promised a Cinderella story. This story is better than Cinderella, and I happen to adore the original. The story is set in Regency London. There, a 3 year old Sophia Maria Beckett arrived on the doorstep of the Earl of Penwood, where she'd been left by her grandmother.
