I decided to buy this movie because I like Mandy Moore, Hugh Grant and Dennis Quaid. I liked the idea of the movie and how it spoofed American Idol. Of course this is not a must see film, but for the average young woman who can be easily entertained by mockery and romance it's good.

I bought the DVD because I like Hugh Grant and he is usually good in movies. I absolutely hated this movie and wondered why they bothered to make it.

I thought this was a great movie. It seemed more real to life than most. It is something that really happens in life today and I think it has a valuable lesson to be learned.

Bought the movie American Dreamz. Was looking for an inexpensive movie with inexpensive shipping. This person provided both. I buy lots of movies so it is nice when you can find someone who would provide both of what you are looking for. And to top it off the movie was in very good shape.

A recent trip to the video store sent me to the clearance rack to look at used DVD s that were really cheap. One of them that I came across was American Dreamz. The Plot or Plots This is a movie about a show called American Dreamz. Some would say that it is a spoof of American Idol. The show has people sing, and American votes one out each week just like on American Idol. The main differences between the American Dreamz and American Idol is that contestants are not chosen by live try outs, but rather through entries sent in, with each contestant being hand picked, by the shows host and Martin.

I just got back from seeing American Dreamz at the local theater. On the whole, it was an average film for me. Some things worked, some things didn t. I m glad I saw it but don t feel the need to see the film again when it comes to DVD. The Plot American Dreamz is mainly a satire of two things: the American Idol TV show and the Bush administration. The show has picked its newest crop of finalists, including perky but manipulative Sally Kendoo (Mandy Moore) and Omer (Sam Golzri), failed wanna-be terrorist sent to California to be out of the way. American Dreamz is a lame political satire based around a mock American Idol television show. Hugh Grant plays the Simon-like character while Mandy Moore plays the leading contestant on the show. In addition, Dennis Quaid plays the goofy President while a bald-headed Willem Dafoe plays a Cheney-like character. I had high hopes for this movie, but found it boring and unfunny.
