Excellent! Wonderful Primer for Altered Art

I love this book! I use it more for a reference than a project guide. Ms. Arendt has taken a wonderful art form and simplified the terms so that even a novice can begin to create wonderful stuff.
The book can tend to be pricey, so if you can find a copy under 10 bucks, I suggest you snag it!
The author covers technique and form in such a creative and interesting way that the reader will be inspired to create after the very first chapter. In my opinion, this book is definately worth owning.

Absolutely the BEST!Great illustrations and instructions for both beginners and others. Great reference book for different types of altering and the materials needed. It's the best book I've found on altered art.

Great way to motivate yourself into a creative mind-set. This book prompts ideas, imagery, etc, even when I have exhausted my own. Super invest for someone who doesn't consider her/him-self "Creative/Artsy-Craftsy&q
