Mercyme ALMOST THERE Christian CD Uplifting

Almost There was the first cd released by the pop Christian band Mercyme. Released in 1994 it quickly became a hit with the song "I Can Only Imagine" topping the charts for Christian music and also crossing over as huge hit in secular music.The band originally hales from Oklahoma & was founded by lead vocalist Bart Millard. Jim Bryson plays keyboard, while Mike Scheuchzer& Nathan Cochran play guitars. The drummer is Bobby Shaffer. This album sold over 2 million copied in 3 years & also earned an American Music award. Great upbeat pop sound, all with a Christian message. Songs include: I worship You, Here I am, How Great Is Your Love & more! If you enjoy contemporary Christian music this is a must for your collection. On it's way to becoming a classic hit.

I bought this Cd because of the song "I Can Only Imagine" This is my favourite song. I have recently bought the other Mercyme CDs and this one is probably my least favourite but still rates a 5 out of 5 because this group is that good.

MUSIC BY MERCYME, A CHRISTIAN CDI bought a CD of Mercyme three weeks ago. IT arrived in perfect condition and in record time. I am thoroughly enjoying my music. I am sharing it with my sister who just lost her son to death by drug use. Thsnk you.

Awesome!Wonderful sound, the lead singers voice is amazing, such clarity. I love the message in this CD. These young men are very talented. The songs are very upbeat and beautiful.

This is a wonderful cd by Mercyme. It has great christian songs that will touch your heart, especially the song "I Can Only Imagine". I think anyone would be happy if they bought this cd, it's the best!!!

Almost There-Mercyme (CD 2005)I bought this CD because of the song "I Can Only Imagine". Very awesome,beautiful song. I had heard the song several times on radio and in church. I wanted to hear several other songs from Mercyme. Outstanding group & CD. It's definitely a keeper.

Almost There-MercymeI bought it for the song "I can only imagine." This was played at my cousin's funeral, and it touched me deep in my soul. The words were amazing, and they seemed to make all my problems disappear when I heard them, because I was able to put into perspective what is really important in this life. When I listened to the rest of the CD, it was just as comforting and wonderful as the song I had bought it for.

A wonderful cd,for anyone who loves christain music.Very touching songs.
The song "I Can Only Imagine" ,is the real reason I wanted this cd.I listen to this song when I am feeling down and my heart and soul is lifted with joy when the song is finished

This CD is more than a CD which contains a mega-single. This CD is has a great sound. Mercy Me accomplished something that many groups strive to do, but continually fail. To produce a CD that sounds good in your player or ipod day after day and year after year is an awesome accomplishment. I own a sound company. When the house sound is in place and it is time to test the crossover and numerous other things, Almost There is the CD that starts the process. It never fails to deliver... it's Always There.

This was their crossover cd (their first cd on a major label). Many
people think that this is the best cd ever put out by Mercyme (including
me!!) ..
If you don't have any cd's by them, this would be the one to get first!! It has the song that made them famous, the great song "I Can Only Imagine", as well as the popular "I Worship You" and "Here Am I"
5 Stars and highly recommended to all!
