Choose from six different pilots from a United Nations peacekeeping force, and get ready to shoot down evil in AEROFIGHTERS ASSAULT for the Nintendo 64. You'll face the Phutta Morgana (a high-tech terrorist group that has melted the Antarctic ice cap in order to flood cities), cause plenty of damage, and achieve world domination. Practice your flying and shooting skills in the Practice mode (seven missions, with the ability to unlock three additional missions) before attempting to restore peace in the main game, where you'll be taking on jets, subs, helicopters, and more. Boss Attack mode allows you to face any of the superiors you've gone up against in the main game at any time, and Death Match mode pits you against a friend in a fierce dogfight. Throw on your aviator shades and bomber jacket, because you've got some flying to do.

Pros:
inexpensive, new levels

Cons:
hard to play, boring, slow

This game could have been better off if it was named "Bomb everything and never have fun". It is hard to follow and all the game features are listed in one word- weapons. The jets are slow, and the game becomes boring after ten minutes of play. The good comes when you defeat a level because you actually get to see something new. I bought this game for $20, and it was $20 that i would have rather had in my pocket. The game was simply not impressive like most N64 games are. N64 usually produces high quality games, but this time they failed. If you get a chance to buy this game, pass it up...

Pros:
Presents a challenge to say the least.

Cons:
Not much realism in the game for ie; the speed of the aircraft and the afterburners. Time limit on some boards.

I bought this game second hand after trying to track it down for quite sometime now, and I am a little disappointed. I read articles stating it was a cross between Sega's Afterburner and Nintendo's Top gun. I never played Nintendo's top gun but I have played Afterburner and that was enough for me (or so I thought). The only similarity it has with Afterburner is the view (YIPPIE FRAGGIN SKIPPIE [said with extreme sarcasm]). Since I got this game second hand I got no manual, so first thing I checked was the configuration settings, I configured it how I felt I would learn the controls best. I...

Pros:
Nice controls, low learning curve

Cons:
old storyline, bad graphics, slow

Ok, being a part-time computer programmer, sometimes I can look at console games and get a general idea of where the developers screwed up and where the game has its fine points. On all things concerned, this game just isnt worth the money. The graphics engine the game uses for the n64 uses very definative polygons to make up a very geometric-looking screen. Unfortunately, this sort of display is destined to subtract horribly from the overall replay value when the visuals and the graphical representation is no where near up to par. The game itself is worthy or some merit. When it was created,.

Pros:
Fun dog fights, good graphics

Cons:
Hard, not many levels to beat so they are all hard

I kind of like games where you fly around and shoot down planes and when this came out I said, " I have to try it" So I did, and after playing for about 3-6 hours I came to a level I absolutely could not beat. I think the game was hard and after trying to beat the same level a whole lot of times I beat it, so don't give up. But on the good side I liked the graphics and the desert areas where you could fly through canyon and under arches, and there was an option of one on one dogfighting. I found that very entertaining and did that for awhile. I think even though it has a lot of cons this game.

Pros:
um........

Cons:
uncountable

This game is terrible for many reasons. It has a bad view, so you get turned upside down and you can't even figure out where you are. Then you end up flying all around and the next thing you know your heading straight into the ground. It's really hard to aim, and when you fire you can't really even see where it went. Whoever programmed the enemy pilot's must not have tested the game, because there is no way to stick on them. In battlemode it took hours to kill my oppontent, because neither of us could fly, or shoot too well, so we had a hard time hitting each other. The first level was...
