A Walk to Remember (2002, DVD)

I really only watched this movie because my daughter put it on while I was visiting, because I considered myself definintly not the SAPPY type. I was wrong. I have watched this dvd 12 times since the first time, and I have cried each and every time. Not just for the loss of Landon, but for the joy of what selfless love and truly believing in something can do in life. This dvd brought back a feeling of wanting to be the best person I could be instead of just being what is exspected of me. I relize now that I once felt that way about life and somewhere along the way I lost it , and didn't even know I had lost it, and although I wasnt exactly happy, I wasnt unhappy either, I was ...... just going through the motions. This dvd reminded me how people with faith and selfless caring about others are really the most luckiest and truly happiest in their hearts and make their days here on earth count. I found out that I would rather be the best person I can be for a very short time here on earth, rather then live on earth for a long long time the way I have been for to long now. I can honestly say..I think by watching "A Walk to Remember" , that it saved my heart and soul from shutting down completely. I have never wrote a review befor, and probably never will again, but I wanted to share with anybody out there that dosnt know they've lost something, but walks now with indifference to life,please take a moment and pick up this movie, I promise it will wake up your heart and soul and make you remember the way you once walked and the feeling of being the best person you can be. If there is anything I didn't like about this movie,its only that it also reminded me of how many there are of us that are lost and dont know it, and Im so thankful that Im not one of them anymore.

This is my daughters favorite movie and I wasn't finding it around town.So I gave it a try on ebay and found it and got it for her.

One of my favorite movies - could watch it over and over again. I bought it because my boyfriend had never saw it and I was getting tired of waiting for it to come on TV.

I have seen this movie many times. I love everything about this film from its actors, directors, and story line to the music. If you tend to be an emotional film watcher who gets sniffly, bring a box of tissues.

My 15 yo daughter requested this dvd. It has ben watched by the entire family. We all loved the film, but did have a few groans from my 13 yo son. Good pace, well done choice of story.

Can't find certain movies in stores anymore. The only trouble I have is I haven't got a few things I ordered (already paid)so there is nothing I can do.
But I love getting the stuff you can't find anymore in stores that people still have in good condition.

I bought this movie and watched it with my teenager and found that I liked it as much as she did. It is a wholesome movie that subtly teaches old fashioned values while it entertains.

I love this movie!!!! This is probably my favorite movie of all times. It is a very sad love story. At the end of the movie someone dies, but I wont tell you who it is because that will ruin the whole movie. I would recommend this movie to everyone. This movies makes me cry everytime I see it, even though I have watched it a million times.

I bought it because my daughter had it on her Christmas list and I couldn't find it in the store. It is an excellent movie.

The story in this movie is not only entertaining but comes with a lesson as well. And Mandy Moore's voice is just beautiful.

I looked & looked for this DVD for my daughter for Christmas but was unable to
purchase it in a store. I found it on EBAY & my daughter loves it. She can't

well i love this movie. and my family loves it as well. also it is a good movie for the hole family to see.

I like that this movie captures the essence of the characters being played and realizes the fact that life has its twists and turns. It's good to see how the roles play against each other and then finally come to an understanding of growing up from the events they experience. Life and death both have their roles to play in this mortal existence but there is always something new to learn from the in-between. I didn't care for the select few cheesy lines. If you like the modern romance and drama then I highly suggest this movie.

The DVD is in Good Quality and they made a prompt delivery. I appreciate their service. I would recomand others to buy this product.

I purchased the DVD "A Walk To Remember" about 2 months ago because I am a fan of Shane West, even though I was unfamiliar with the film. I absolutely LOVED it after the first viewing and enjoy it more with each subsequent viewing (I've watched it about 20 times now). Not your "typical" teen movie, this film is well acted (West and Mandy Moore are particularly good and believable) and sweetly romantic. Peter Coyote and Daryl Hannah lend experience and support to a fine cast. The romance between Landon (West) and Jamie (Moore) builds slowly and defines what we all wish our first love was or will be. The DVD extras are good, especially the audio commentary by West, Moore and director Adam Shankman which is very funny and reveals many interesting and humorous tidbits about the making of this film scene by scene. However, I wish the DVD extras had included some unused scenes, many of which were mentioned in the commentary by West, Moore & Shankman. Including some outtakes would have also been nice but, in general, "A Walk To Remember" is well worth purchasing and will entertain and warm your heart over and over again. (Keep a box of tissues nearby, though!)

This is a very good movie for the young and young at heart. I would recommend it to anyone because of the lack of violence and good values.

I LOVED THIS MOVIE!! Be sure to have a box of kleenx by your side when you watch it! It is such a "feel good" movie. Keeps your attention throughout and has a lot of feelings in it, that YOU will feel. Excellent story! What I didn't like: It was not long enough!! I wanted more!

When my wife and I saw this movie, it surprised us. Although the theme and plot may seem familiar, the characters are lovable and have great chemistry. I have not heard of Mandy Moore prior to this movie. But, she pulled this one out.

Although we have not enjoyed Ms. Moore's recent movies, this role is definitely her best.

This is a story of true love amid a catastrophic illness. It is a touching story that my children had seen, and wanted to have to see again. I know I can rely on EBay to have things that might otherwise be hard to find. This was something that I picked up on a very reasonable "buy me now" price.

My wife and I are living in Russia and we were unable to buy this CD here. Thank you for selling it to us.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this movie because it was put together so well, and it flowed awesomely!Shane West is AWESOME! He's my favorite! Mandy Moore is cute...everyone says I look like her...so you know. So yea, if you want a sweet chick flick movie to watch with your girlfriends, girls, this is the movie!! And guys, if you have a girl, and you wanna surprise her with some roses and stuff, put in this movie and cuddle up with her on the couch. HOW SWEET!

The packaging of the movie is like in any store you would purchase it from. It was sealed and in perfect condition. There is nothing I didn't like about this product. I've liked the movies since I first saw it. She's not one of your typical teenagers, her father is a reverend. Jaime is a Christian girl who is not afraid of her faith and doen't care what others think or say about her. Landon is a teenage boy who is hanging around with others that like to party and have fun no matter who gets hurt. He gets caught in a dangerous game they play which almost costed someone there life. The law can't prove it,so the school gets involved and makes him participate in school functions as his punishment. This is where he is taught by Jamie about life,love,trust and goals something he hadn't thought about or known. If you have children I think you would love this movie and hope that they would learn something by watching this movie. I highly recommend it.

This is a classical romance movie.MY husband and I watched it together and we loved it.Mandy moore is really good in this you should watch it.

Modern twist on "Love Story" evoking an equal number of tears! Music is quite nice - Mandy Moore has a beautiful voice. Easy to watch, but grab a tissue!
