I loved the book. I had read the book previously and decided I wanted one for my library. Great book and the copy I received was in excellent condition.

This book was the best. i have bought this book for so many people. however the book i ordered march 27 on ebay has still not arrived. today its may 9
whats up with that.

I loved this book!!! I would give it 5 stars....i laughed, cried, I took this book on vacation with me and laid on the beach and read evey bit of it!!! It is definatly an AWESOME BOOK!!!

I like the fact, that it was easy reading. And I loved the idea, of someone being very open and realistic of their life experiences, and not trying to sugar coat it.

I never received the item, I ordered it and was charged for it. I have filed a claim but received no response. I an very unhappy with ebay right now.

This is one of the best books I have ever ready. Cupcake Brown story, is one that so many of us can relate to. I loved it!!

I did not receive this book, so I cannot rate the actual quality, etc. I would say that this was a very dissapointing transaction.

Cupcake Brown is my hero. Her persistance & determination to become a lawyer after getting sober is truly amazing. But getting sober AND staying sober is the real miracle in this book. Many would use a childhood history of loss, abuse,gangs, prostitution and chemical dependency as an excuse or a way of saying "poor me" to continue using drugs & alcohol. Cupcake didn't blame anyone for her horrific childhood,except maybe God at times. Taking charge in a moment of clarity, she picked herself up, dusted herself off and changed the direction of her life.

That is why Cupcake Brown is my hero, my inspiration and my sister in recovery.

I purchased this book for my 17 yr old daughter. She has a run away and other trouble behavior simular to cupcake's. I thought the book might provide some insight into the road of recovery.
She immediately was captivated has proceeded and finshed it. She states, it has helped her and she was very gratefull that I, her father gave it to her.
