I like Amanda Peet movies, she beautiful and a great actress as well. I love the story on how two strangers meet. The man has plans to get fanacially stable, with a house, a car, and money. Now the girl has dreams on becaming an actress and has a few boyfriends. The man has only one girlfriend that he fells in love but in his mind is the stranger he meet, a while back. Now the best part is the ending, very excited. Just had to buy it and i loved it, very very much.
Love this movie. Seen it once and I had to buy. Its one of those flix you can watch over and over and still get goose bumps, like it was the first time.
This is one of the cutest movies!! It has been put on my list of favorites, right up there with "While You Were Sleeping"! which is my all time favorite movie!! What a great love story!!
When I first saw this movie I knew this would be my favorite movie till the end of time. Its the greatest love story I seen since the old 1930-1950s movies. It has perfect casting (Ashton Kutcher,Amanda Peet)and has an awsome soundtrack. If you never experienced true love or even a first love it brings the feeling to you like you actually experience it.
I GAVE IT A RATING OF "GOOD". I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 14 YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER. SHE ENJOYED THE MOVIE, AND SO DID HER FRIENDS (AGES 14-15). THE GIRLS SAID IT WAS "GOOD", NOT EXCELLENT- JUST GOOD.
i loved romance movies and i like buy good stuff . and them watched with my family . because that is one of the most important thing in my life, and is better when you only have to go in my computer and search ebay and found everything that i want and needed
I didn't like Ashton Kutcher before but this movie changed my mind. Both he and Amanda Peet did a good job. I know that this is a "chick flick" but I recommend it to anybody interested in romance movies. No complaints from me.
Boy meets girl by chance. Boy really likes girl, girl likes boy; yet, they part ways. Boy and girl find one another again and form a relationship. And again, go their seperate ways. This scenario carries on forever, it seems.
If you've watched any Molly Ringwold movie, you can guess the end.
The only redeeming factor of this movie is Ashton Kutcher. It's such a doll to watch and this role is actually one that is humbled compared to many of his others.
Purchase this one to watch on a rainy night or, better yet, when your cables been disconnected. Then, it's better than nothing.
I have previously rented this movie and decided I wanted to make it part of my own personal video collection. There is nothing to not like about this movie. It is truly a great movie.
this movie is so cute..i love it so much its funny...cute...romantic..i love the romantic parts and it is sexy as well. i reccomend this movie to everyone its such a good movie!!

Maybe Ashton Kutcher should have stayed on "That '70's Show" ("A Lot Like Love")

Pros: Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet look good together.
Cons: Some very silly scenes might turn you off.
I made a last minute decision to see this movie after work yesterday with a friend. I hadn't heard too much about it, but recently saw the actress who stars in it, Amanda Peet, on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She is cute and has pretty eyes and a great smile. I'd only seen her in one other movie and that was a small part in "Something's Gotta Give" playing the short term girlfriend of Jack Nicholson's character. I believe this is the first film in which she plays a lead character. She plays opposite Ashton Kutcher. Ashton Kutcher is a likable actor too. I guess the jury is still out on...

Pros: Amanda Peet and Ashton Kutcher are pretty people.
Cons: Mainly for those who don't demand Pros
A Lot Like Love is one of those movies we ve all grown accustomed to popping up now and again. Every so often a new hack rears his head and spins together pieces of movies that people seemed to like pretty well. Some which way said hack will put his own touches onto things, or otherwise aim the film at a slightly different demographic, and a movie will be born. In this case the writer is Colin Patrick Lynch, an actor whose notable credits in film are: Attendant, Sheriff #2, ESU technician, and in this film... Upstairs Neighbor. A Lot Like Love is actually A Lot Like Four Weddings and a...

There's a Lot to Like about A Lot Like Love

Pros: Kutcher, chemistry between leads, gets the details right so the people and relationships feel real
Cons: Emily gets less attention than Oliver, the first meeting is a bit awkward and weird
When I saw the trailer for A Lot Like Love my first thought was "They remade When Harry Met Sally. That might be fun." A Lot Like Love does share some basic plot points with When Harry Met Sally - boy meets girl, they hit it off, they part ways, they date other people, they periodically drop in on each others' lives, and many years later they finally hook up - but that's really all they have in common. When Harry Met Sally is a comedy highlighting the humor in how we meet and pair up. A Lot Like Love is pure romance with a few funny moments that flow naturally from the relationship. Oliver...

Pros: Amanda Peet almost gets nake...oh who am I kidding - nothing.
Cons: plot, humor, dialogue, pacing
Wandering off the set of Guess Who and onto the one for "A Lot Like Love" has been an easy way this year for Ashton Kutcher to find work and collect the paychecks, but he's now running the risk of becoming a typecast: the goofy, awkward but somehow likeable guy he's been stuck playing for a handful of films, with the worst as of now being either this or "My Boss's Daughter." Yeah I said it. Kutcher plays Oliver Martin, a young adult with no job but a basement below his parents' house for him to call home. At the airport on his way from Los Angeles to New York he meets an eccentric girl named..
