This CD brings to life the true talent of Aerosmith. Listening to this CD shows just how this band has been able to stay around for more than 30 years! The passion in the music from the "original" five members is a key CD for any aerosmith fan to draw closer to this phenomenal band! It's as though im in the front row.

Pros:
It's Aerosmith LIVE, man. Use your head.

Cons:
A little lacking, but so it goes.

Aerosmith, maligned veteran rockers from the '70s with their own little fanbase, may well be one of the only groups to release more live albums (4) than greatest hits compilations (3). "A Little South of Sanity," though, chronicling the world tours for "Nine Lives" and "Get A Grip," is above and beyond the previous live efforts Aerosmith--or anybody, really--has put forth. Aerosmith starts out furiously, kicking in the door and swarming in with a thundering 'Eat The Rich' which includes, as sort of a bonus, a little "rap" that fans will recognize as the intro to the "Get A Grip" album. This...

A Little South of Sanity by Aerosmith

Pros:
Breaks down the "Best Of" stigma.

Cons:
Some might not want to give it a chance.

Though I have never been to a live Aerosmith concert, I feel as though I have been to one. No, I don t have a mullet. I do not wear jean jackets with a pair of jeans. (Sorry, Canadians) And know I do not smell like a mixture of wine coolers, marijuana, and body odor right now. Rather, I have just listened to Aerosmith s live album Little South of Sanity . With tracks taken from the Nine Lives Tour as well as the Get a Grip Tour, this album is a solid compilation of live tracks performed by rock and roll icons Aerosmith. The music is real, the rock and roll is pure, and the history behind...

Pros:
It's basically "Aerosmith's Live Greatest Hits"

Cons:
That is a good and a bad thing, as the ballads are way too many

After being in the business for over twenty five years, selling out stadiums and arenas, going platinum with just about every album, and in 1998, finally getting a number one single, it is perhaps a little bit sketchy that Aerosmith had never released a true live album. Yeah, so they had the two Classics Live albums, and that Live:Bootleg deal, but those sounded like studio recordings with audience noise added in as an effect. So finally, hot on the heels of said number one single, Aerosmith released their first true definitive live album in the fall of 98, a two disc set entitled A Little...

Pros:
Aerosmith live!

Cons:
not on tour now ~

Wake up kids, it s half past the youth, ain t nothin changin but the date . And if I m awake, chances are that I m listening to an album by my favorite band-Aerosmith. This particular album, A Little South of Sanity leaves me aching for a new album and tour from this wonderful band from Boston. (Actually, I hear that they re working on material for a new album now...I CAN T WAIT!) From the first pounding of the drums on Eat the Rich to the closing classic Sweet Emotion , this is a fun-filled concert, a must have for every Aerosmith fan, and a perfect introduction for fans-to-be. Disk 1: Song-.

Pros:
Good production and mix

Cons:
Too many slow songs!

Edited on 3-11-00 I bought this album the day it came out mostly because I have every Aerosmith album in my collection. I was happy to see that there would finally be live versions of their more recent songs available. Of course that means that there was going to be an abundance of their ballads on this album. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that their slower songs did seem to have an extra bit of attitude that isn t found on the studio versions. The first disc contains most of Aerosmith recent hit singles, while disc two is reserved mostly for some of their hits from the...
