I didn't get much done around the house when I read this book. I had to buy the 2 books before it, once I finished it. The author's give you realistic events but still fiction writing!!

The entire Zion Chronicles series is very good reading. While fiction, it is based on histroy and very factual. The book has caused me to go a lot of research myself and is very thought provoking. The personal stories and relationships are very real. Highly Recommended! You can't help but have great respect for the Jewish people and all they have and still go through.

Zion ChroniclesI would classify this book as Historical Fiction. It is part of a 5 book series which I began reading from my church library and found this book (number 2 in the series) was missing. I had no trouble finding it on e-bay ordered it immediately and it now belongs to the Church to round out the set.
Set after World War II mainly in Jerusalem it is a heartwrenching novel about the struggle for statehood as well as survival for the Jews. I highly recomend The Zion Chronicles to everyone.
