This is the official introductory book of ms. sands vampire series. and what a series it is. they are Canadian Vampires (GO CANADA!) who have a nosy busybody mother who's lifes mission is to stick her nose in her kids lives. this sotry is about Lissianna. the only girl of the set. She is a vampire but she has one problem. she has a blood phobia. she faints at the sight, smell of blood. and what a problem that causes. so her well intending mother does what any mother would do....she kidnaps a renouned psychiatrist..hog ties him to Lissi's bed and demands that he cure her. Gregory Hewitt(the psychologist doctor) thinks he has become some erotic sex slave for lissi who decides to take a light snack to tide her over before her birthday party starts....this starts a series of amazingly humorous sinarios that laed to lissandera and Greg running from Lissi's council member uncle Lucian who has a stick up his ass and a reputation to match(or does he?). from one problem to another they just can't seem to get it together.

you will really enjoy this book. it has humor, intrigue, vampires, nosy mothers, and sexy doctors...and a guy who looks like he's in his mid 20's in a spiderman pjs, with a surfer dude accent running around with a group of girls in babydoll pjs...

you will not be dissapointed. it's a great humorous book that is a re-reader.

This book is the first in the series and is very well written. Lots of humor, good story line and written in a contempory style. I have also continued to read the series and am now on Book #5. All the books in this series have been very entertaining and quick reads. The story line is fast paced, interesting and holds the attention from page to page.

I really like this author and series. the seller was great and quick. I read the book and it was over way too soon. I just hope the series keels going.

I LIKE EVERY THING ABOUT THIS BOOK.IF YOU LIKE TO READ VAMPIRES BOOKS ,THEN YOU MOST READ THIS ONE.IT IS SO DIFFERENT THEN ANOTHER VAMPIRE BOOKS.

An excellent book!! It was a wonderful read! Even if you have not read the series prior to this - it keeps you up. You can pick up in the middle of the series and not be lost! Very entertaining. It kept me laughing and interested right up until the end!!! I was dissapointed when I finished the book - simply because there wasn't more to read! :) She's a WONDERFUL author!!!

The author put humor as well as romance into her books. You feel you know (and like)these people. It's a very quick read, one that you can't and don't want to put down. I would recommend it to anyone.

FUNNY AND ENTERTAINING!! JUST AN ALL-AROUND GREAT BOOK AND AN EXCELLENT AUTHOR. I WILL DEFINATELY BUY MORE OF LINDSAY SANDS BOOKS.

Sands brings us into a world of vampires that are from the blood sucking fiends of the night. Instead they are lively people just trying to live there everyday lives along side us not so immortal folks. Each of her books are loaded with humor and a heart warming romance that actually seems possible. Unlike other romance books that have characters spewing eye rolling dialogue and acting in ways that would never happen, all Sands' characters are believable.

A Bite to Remember is no exception to the rule. Brought into the world of eccentric theater producer Vincent, we watch as Private Investigator, Jackie, must not only solve the mystery of his stalker but also over come the ghost of her past. From humorous shopping trips to tension filled fight scenes this book has something for those of us that love a little romance and mystery mixed into a fun story. A definite must read and keep for future rereads.
