50 First Dates is a Really funny romantic comedy

I wasn't that pumped to watch this movie but when I did I really enjoyed it. Sandler and Barrymoore have great on screen chemistry and the movie itself is really well scripted and features a great supporting cast.

I'm not a huge Sandler fan but this was one of my favorite Sandler films.

An Adam Sandler Classic. If you collect all of his movies, this is definitely a must have to the DVD shelf. Many talented actors and actresses are in this romance comedy flick that includes: Rob Schneider, Drew Barrymore, Dan Aykroyd, & Sean Austin.

Great humour and sarcasm, very sweet comedy with a good blend of character and animals. The sex jokes are not overly distasteful, they obviously come from the mind of Adam Sandler but have been toned down a notch to make them bareable, Rob Schneider and his "kids" are a great comedy relief at just the right moments. Great movie!

I thought this was such a sweet and touching movie. A chick flick but with the great Sandler humor that guys can appreciate. Barrymore and Sandler have a natural chemistry that plays out on screen. I found myself both crying and laughing.

This is one of my favorite movie of all times. It is touching, romantic and funny. It can make you laugh and sigh at the same time. Great for all ages. It could be called a chick flick but I think its great for all.

This is another great movie of Drew Barrymore & Adam Sandler's! It's definately a must have!!! I laughed out loud a lot during this movie!!!

This movie is the ultimate romantic comedy. I wish all men would work this hard to keep a girl in love with him! I absolutely adore Drew Barrymoore in this film (she is so sweet & funny)and Adam Sandler really shows off his(serious) acting skills. I will watch this movie over & over...you should definately try it!

It should inventive ways to accomodate a handicap. It shows how caring for an individual can change your outlook on them and your life.

This is a wonderfully delightful movie. Charming, funny, endearing. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore have great chemistry. The character played by Sandler is a regular guy with huge capacity for unconditional love. Exceptional performance on his part. Barrymore's character shows a trusting and loving person in a tough position. Her performance depicting what it is like to have short term memory loss is one the nose and played with depth and care. I bought this movie because I love it and find it cathartic. I bought a 2nd copy to give to my brother to help him understand what my world is like living with memory loss. The movie says what can't be put be put into words. If anybody knows how to get word to Sandler or Barrymore... please thank them for making the movie.

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are reunited in this cute "Feel Good" movie set in Hawaii. The chance meeting between Sandler and Barrymore occurs in a quant island restaurant. Barrymore, who lost her memory in a car accident, (not violent), is reliving the last day before the accident over and over in her daily routine much like "groundhogs day." Her father does all he can to keep his daughter's memory of the accident away from her by going out of his way to keep her happy. The entire supporting cast carries the movie with the exception of Rob Schneider who feels that perverted "sophomoric" humor is needed to carry the day. Without his brief appearances I would have rate the movie excellent since it is the kind of harmless classic you can watch over and over.

I'm caretaker for a family member suffering from severe short term memory loss. 50 First Dates gave me a greater insight into what her life is like and how to make it a little easier. It's also light hearted entertainment at the same time.

there are a few reasons that i bought this title one i love drew and have since firestarter and then there is no one like adam and it is a cute story this disk was in verry good condition and i would like to do bisness with thi seller again

I thought this movie was great. Alot of laughs.Very well written and great acting. I really enjoyed the animals. They were well trained.This is a movie you won't mind watching again and again.

This is a very funny movie that also has a nice emotional quality as well (e.g. "Chick Flick"!). There is enough comedy to satisfy the average male viewer and enough emotional gratification to satisfy the average female viewer.

In short, a great movie and I loved it.

This is one of those fun date movies. You don't need to think too hard, you can just sit and be entertained. Great cast, crazy storyline = alot of fun. I added this one to my collection.

Loved the movie and had the vhs tape, needed the dvd and product recieved was in excellent condition as promised.

I am pleasantly suprised to say that I really enjoyed this movie- it manages to be light hearted and funny, romantic and has a little depth to it at the same time. Adam Sandler plays a man who shys away from commitment in relationships and has a long history of one night stands with the many different women who are vacationing on the resort island he lives on. Drew Barrymore plays a woman named, Lucy, an island resident, who due to a car accident has no long term memory. Her memory capacity is only about 24 hours. Although this type of memory condition may sound a little far fetched it actually DOES exist and is portrayed quite realisticly in the plot of this movie- which I think makes the plot more interesting- this REALLY COULD AND DOES HAPPEN. When Sandler meets Lucy he doesn't know about her condition at first and he actually falls in love with her fun and outgoing personality. But because of her condition Lucy can only remember him for 24 hours. This turns into Sandler trying day after day to make Lucy fall in love with him all over again so he can spend time with her, while at the same time trying deal with her very protective family- who do not want to see her hurt by Sandler in any way. Going into this movie I was worried that it might follow the same type of plotline as the movie Groundhog Day- that it would portray the same mundane day over and over and over again-- you know, it was okay to watch for a while, but then gets VERY VERY OLD. Pleasantly that just isn't the case with this movie and the plot manages to progress and move forward.

I really like this movie. It is very cute movie once it gets into the plot. I like the ending as well.

I loved the sincerity and love throughout the movie. It was incredibly amazing and was proof that love has no boundaries. You love someone despite their differences unconditionally. I had seen it on T.V and new it was important to have it!

This is a cute movie about a guy that likes to have one night stands. Then he meets a very cute girl that he's just smitten with, only she doesn't remember him the next day. And that is because she had an car accident a year ago and wakes up each and every day thinking it was the day the wreck happened. It's about what he goes thru winning her over. A very cute movie. I really enjoyed it.
