I purchased this CD for my mom for Mother's Day. She was thrilled and after she played it she said it was great.

We take these CD with us on our Canadian fishing trips and is enjoyed by all generations, our teen aged grand sons to our 70+ year old Canadian friends! I now have four of these CD's as I played the first one so much it stated to ship in places so I wanted back ups and the prices on these ebay CDs are great!
It has a good toe tapping rythm!

Pros:
Great style of musical perfomance

Cons:
None to be talked about

I love music. I love all types of music. I love Neil Diamond music. The music on this set of C.D.s is a great example of how an atrist can have so many different styles of music with different types of vocal, harmonic, and rhythmic styles compressed into one heart wrenching set. Diamond has a way of expressing feeling and compassion while singing the words to a love song, or the way you can feel your body pounding the the bass as they perform a happy, up tempo piece. As many of his albums contain, including this set, he could use his acting sense to not limit the feelings he used to sing...

Pros:
all the superlative Neil Diamond hits

Cons:
raspy talking voice instead of singing sometimes

There is a two-volume black covered set of Neil Diamond's greatest hits from 1966 to 199?. The first CD/cassette is the old stuff, and almost without exception it is a disappointment. Live stuff is loud and never the same, but Mr. Diamond's voice is history. I'd sooner find an original tape from when he really recorded these songs. I'm sorry he has to scream Cherry Cherry now, and I'm sorry he has to yell They're Coming to America, but the romance and charm are gone. The second tape is more recent songs - Heart Light, etc.... This isn't as bad as the first one. Neil Diamond is a classic...
