Classic Elton John Must have.
Outstanding Live album and a must have for Reg Heads! It really shows the talent of Elton and the band in the early years. The recording was performed in a night club with less than 400 people.

Elton John 11-17-70Early Elton John is without a doubt some of the greatest music ever created.His voice is amazing , his piano playing is unbelievable and his presence is so strong on each song.To have some of his greatest songs live is a treat for any music fan.There isn't to much real good live Elton John from the 70's available these days so grab this when you can.

11-17-70 Elton JohnIncredible music. I bought it because it has been difficult for me to find. Elton John's early music is so timeless and wonderful. I had to get this on cd. I don't really use my cassettes anymore, they are old and beaten up. Highly reccomend this cd to any EJ fan.

On November 17 1970, Elton John, along with bass player Dee Murray and drummer Nigel Olsson, performed a live radio show on WNEW in New York before a small studio audience. Elton, although already having a radio hit with "Your Song", was still somewhat of an unknown commodity. Those who had heard him considered Elton to be a laid-back singer-songwriter, and not much of a rock-and-roller. That all changed for anyone who heard the performance that Elton and his band delivered that day, a mix of John/Taupin originals and well-known covers that showcased the enormous talent within this shy 23...
